It’s Saturday again and that means another round of Saturday Sweeps. Come back each Saturday, and I’ll share my favorite sweepstakes for the week. I’d love to hear about a DSM reader winning big!

  • In the Life Opens Up Project from Crest you could stand to win $25,000 and be featured on Rachael Ray. Send in your video telling them how your clean and healthy mouth helps you engage your world.
  • Win an amazing Week in Italy with three of your friends to Villas at Monteverdi in Tuscany and $300 credit for airfare per person.
  • You could be the new owner of a 13-inch MacBook Pro when you enter to win at Redbook! Winner also receives a $300 bidding gift card to beezid.com.

First of all thank you for your newsletter. Today, I decided to enter the sweepstakes posted in your newsletter.
Win an amazing Week in Italy with three of your friends to Villas at Monteverdi in Tuscany and $300 credit for airfare per person. It was a website for a Redbook magazine. The site stated that “no purchase necessary to enter sweepstakes.” As soon as I completed and submitted my personal data, a “Thank you for subscribing to Redbook magazine” screen came on. There was even no price to the subscription or for how long. I immediately tried to cancel the subscription to no avail. I was so frustrated with this deceptive marketing practice. When I got to my email, there was an email stating the subscription rate for the Redbook subscription, however you cannot reply to it. I would like to warn all your subscribers to your newsletter about this. The company was Hearst Magazine. I also found on the web that this company has multiple complaints of there deceptive practices.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
