Remember that Safeway has double coupons (4) up to $0.50 each in their weekly sales flyer.I think generally on the second to last page. Which is great with the ball parks, making them only $0.48 for 2!

I had two .75 coupons (rounds up to $1), so I got two packages free
Colgate Total Advanced, 4 oz., clearance – $1.49

Kraft Singles, 12 .0z.
Super coupon – $.99
Had a $1 coupon, so item was free – I think this was today only though.
