My first experience with Ridemakerz was this past August during our trip to Myrtle Beach. I was flipping through one of those coupon guides that you’re handed at every turn, looking for something fun to do on a rainy day, and I stumbled across their ad. We decided to give it a shot, and we were not disappointed one bit!

I recently had the opportunity to attend a bloggers event at the Ridemakerz at Castleton Square Mall in Indianapolis. It was a bit of a drive for us, but we had a blast – and I couldn’t pass up the chance to meet some of my fellow mommy bloggers like Bargain Briana, DesignHer Momma, and Mommin’ It Up!

If you’re not familiar with Ridemakerz, think Build-A-Bear only with cars. Don’t be fooled into thinking this will only interest boys though. They have adorable pink and purple cars that will appeal to your little princess as well (and a cute little heart-shaped front grille and rims too).

Kids can customize their cars by choosing the body, chassis, wheels, rims, add-ons and much more. They can even add a remote control package. Of course these extras can get pricey, but the great thing is you can get a basic ride starting at only $12! Now is that a bargain or what? Extras can be purchased separately, so you can potentially spruce up your car over time.

I was thoroughly impressed by how ultra clean their stores are, and the interactive environment is very kid friendly. I found the staff to be professional and very helpful.

    My son already has the fire truck picked out and has $35 saved up for it. He’s only 5 but really wants one. We have one right in our local mall and have to make the trip everytime we go there. This would make his Christmas! He could really trick it out and his sister could even get one!

    This would be great for my husband and my step-son! They won’t go to build a bear, because they say they are “macho guys, who don’t play with girly things…” whatever… If I had to choose what they would pick, I’d say the Ford mustang in Raven scream black! Those two are all about mustangs!
