Redbox: 2 New FREE Rental Codes

January 8, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 41 Comments

FREE Redbox Rental Code
Looking forward to a relaxing weekend at home? Here’s some free entertainment for you. Right now you can get free DVD rentals at your local Redbox.

Simply use these Redbox codes: RBX2NITE or FREE45W. If you’ve never used DVDONME or BREAKROOM, they should still be working as well. These can be used once per debit/credit card, so you can rent more than one for free by using different cards!

I don’t know about how relaxing our weekend will be, but we won’t be out and about much with all the snow that’s been dumped on us over the past 24 hours.

Wondering just how exactly to use these Redbox codes?
Check out Redbox 101 for step-by-step instructions!

I think RBX2NITE expired last night @ midnight. If it works for anyone today, let me know. I am bummed that I may have missed it. Thanks.

Just got home and it worked for me, too. The redbox email said it expired last night (weird because I received the email last night), but it worked fine just now.

I just tried RBX2NITE and FREE45W and neither of them worked but I was able to get a movie with DVDONME. I will try to use BREAKROOM tomorrow for another movie when I return the one I got today. This is the first time I am using Redbox and am really excited about getting the free movies. Thanks!!

Neither of those codes worked for me and I tried 2 different locations. As for DVDONME and BREAKROOM. I’ve already used those codes so it doesn’t work for me.

Neither code worked for me at WAGS in North MS today. Bummer! I was e-mailed the RBX2NITE code and just checked the e-mail and it did expire at midnight on the 7th and the timestamp was 5:42 p.m. on the 7th — wish I had seen it, I might have made the trip out!

Neither code worked for me. I went back and checked my e-mail, and it did say that the RBX2Nite expired January 7. My account received the e-mail at 6:36pm the evening of the 7th, and I didn’t open it until the next morning. Still got a movie tonight, but with what was left on a Saturday night, I too wish I would have known and saved a trip.

I got a code RBXLUV10 via email today that expires tomorrow. I also know that DVDATWAG works, but only at walgreens locations. I did not try the first one with different credit cards, so I don’t know if it can be used more than once.

If you change up your credit cards you are using, the codes work again. They work only once with each credit card you use.

DVDONME and BREAKROOM (any location) and DVDATWAG (Walgreens only) all just worked for me a couple of days ago here in California. Also, DVDKROG (Kroger only) worked just a few days ago at Ralphs (a Kroger owned store).

These have all worked in the past few weeks in Western Arizona:
    DVDONME
    BREAKROOM
    DVDATWAG (Walgreens)
    DVDKROG (Smiths)

WARNING: Check your debit/credit card for $1 charge for the supposed “free” rentals. I’m trying to get Redbox to reverse 10 coupon code rentals.
