Kmart is doubling coupons again this week at select locations; however, they seem to be pretty disorganized this go around. According to the information Cherry Picker received, Columbus stores are participating.

However, my ad has no mention of the promotion. Others are reporting that their ad says they’re only doubling up to $0.75 but that Kmart has said this is a misprint and they should double up to $2. So I’d highly suggest that you call your store to get the full details before making a trip so you can be prepared.

Tips for organizing your shopping trip:

• Leave the kids at home so you’re not distracted.
• Keep your transaction small. Plan to buy all of the items you have coupons for together.
• Compile a running list of the prices as you’re shopping.
• Watch carefully as coupons are scanned to make sure they’re doubled/tripled correctly.
• Check your receipt when you get to your car. Any adjustments can be made much more easily now than later.
