Origins: FREE Sample For Recycling Cosmetics

February 16, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 4 Comments

Now you can bring your empty cosmetic tubes, bottles and jars, etc. — regardless of brand — to your nearest Origins retail store or department store counter nationwide to be recycled or used for energy recovery. This is a fantastic way to recycle products that most recycling companies won’t accept.

Plus when you recycle at Origins, you’ll receive a FREE sample of your choice of one of Origins’ high-performance skincare products! Sounds like a win for everyone to me.

Please, I hope the free samples are in eco-friendly packaging.

See company Organic Essence. I shop from them now, instead of Burt’s Bees and other companies, as their packaging is as pure and eco- friendly the actual product.
Can’t bring myself to buy many plastics knowing about the 5 Gyres now in our oceans…Origins: consumers are smart and are catching on that even recycled plastics are just a lesser evil. Could you please look into Bio degradable packaging?

The best oil for skin is one that moisturizes the skin deeply, nourishes it with vitamins and minerals and
is suitable for all skin types. Let me tell
you a bit more about this wonderful gift of nature. It is very valuable as massage
oil, especially to people with arthritis.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
