New Gevalia Offer: 3 Coffee Flavors for $3 + Travel Mug

February 13, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 15 Comments

GevaliaGevalia has a hot new offer where you can buy 3 half-pound boxes of their gourmet coffee (or tea, but I’m a coffee lover) for just $3, including shipping!

Plus you’ll get a FREE stainless steel coffee mug.

Note that you will be enrolled in their autoship program, but you are under no obligation to accept future shipments. Once your initial 3/$3 order has shipped, you may cancel the autoshipment program by calling 1-800-GEVALIA.

I was wondering if you had already completed this offer, meaning that you had canceled the autoshipment program with no problems, after receiving the 3/$3 and travel mug. I guess I’m just worried there will be an ‘accidental’ miscommunication where it DOESN’T get canceled somehow.

Melissa, I haven’t done this particular offer, but I have done a similar offer through them in the past and was able to cancel with no problem. If by chance you’d receive a package in the mail because you forget to cancel (which HAS happened to me in the past with book clubs), you can write “Return To Sender” on the box and stick it back in your mailbox. Just don’t open the box. ;)

If this is helpful, I did one of their deals a while ago for some free coffee. They sent me my 2nd shipment before I had a chance to cancel (I can be very disorganized). I called to see how I should go about returning my unopened box and getting refunded. Not only did they refund me $34.95, they told me to keep the box. I was like, Are you sure? They said go ahead and keep it. So, in my experience, they have very good customer service and are willing to work with you!
P.S. Their packages come by UPS so you cannot return to sender by way of USPS (that’s what I was calling to ask them about when they told me to keep the coffee).

You can still return packages to sender through UPS, Heather. If you catch the driver, you can refuse the package and they’ll take it back with them, or you can write “Return To Sender” and drop it in one of their boxes or at a UPS location. ;)

Does anyone know if I can sign up again for another Gevalia offer after canceling this offer? I’ve wanted to sign up for them when they offer a free coffee pot, and I don’t want to miss this opportunity by choosing this offer instead.

Good question, Kaley. The parameters say that it’s for new customers, but I’m not sure what Gevalia considers a new customer. It seems to me that I’ve done their offers more than once, so it may be that after a certain period of time has passed you can qualify as a new customer again.

Does anyone know how you can get the tea instead of the coffee. I couldn’t see where it gives you an option.

Stephanie, the teas are listed way at the bottom of each drop-down box. You just need to scroll down and select the variety you want.

    Kaley,
They are offering the free coffee pot again, I just ordered mine. You still have to pay $14.95.

    Hi Dealseekingmom and others,
Thanks for this info for Gevalia. I’ve been meaning to look Gevalia up online when they had the free offer, but I missed that one and found your info for the 3/$3. I know Gevalia has great, elegant coffee and could not pass up the offer. I’m new to a site such as yours, and as a “dealseekingmom” myself, I look forward to visiting your site more often.

I would like to have the $3. deal you have out. I would like to have the tea of Blackberry spice. Could you respond as to how I can finish my purchase on line?
I certainly would love to do that or give me a phone # that I can order by phone?
    Thank you so very much.
