Donna – are you using FF or IE? I know I have had trouble in the past with FF and smartsource working together. Maybe try the other?? HTH!

My target wouldn’t let me use these coupons for a .97 product. Anyone else have that problem?

most people, in order to print smartsource coupons, have to download Mozilla Firefox, just type it in google and you’ll find it. Download it and then try printing the smartsource in it. These soaps are sold at a lot of places, not just target, walmart, groceries, etc. This coupon/soap deal has been going on for years.

This coupon is in the newspaper all the time. I must have about 100 of these so far that I’ve gotten free from newspaper coupons.

These are on clearance for 50cents a bar at my Walmart, as well as other Johnson buddies products. I noticed they are coming out with a new product in it it’s place. They are called Suddsy Bars, same thing just different name. They are now coming in a different package of 3 for $3xx. Use up the coupons now!

I click on the link and it takes me to the Smartsource coupons, but this coupon does not come up at ALL. Is anyone else having this problem?

No, I just realized the coupon doesn’t say Johnson’s Buddies Soap, it is just the regular $1 off a Johnson & Johnson product. I did see that one.

It freezes up my browser as well (which is firefox). Moneysavingmom has the same deal except I think hers links through coupons.com and it does the same thing to me. But when I go directly to the site, I can’t find the coupon.

I tried to use a $2/2 coupon for Right Guard trial sizes at Target and they said that since the product was only 99 cents, they couldn’t use the coupon – that the item has to be at least as much as the coupon??

    Starla,

The coupon has a picture of two Johnson & Johnson Baby washes/lotions. It is for any Johnson’s baby product. You are probably looking for a coupon for J&J Buddies soap (that is what I did originally too).

I WAS ABLE TO PRINT THE COUPONS USING IE WITH NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. AND I HAVE THE SAME PROBLE AT TARGET, AND MY WAL-MART’S NO LONGER CARRY THESE. SO I GO TO PUBLIX WERE THEY ARE $1.07. I END UP PAYING .07 EA PLUS TAX, SO LIKE .13 TOTAL. BUT IT IS SO MUCH EASIER THEN GOING TO TARGET AND URGUING WITH THE CASHIER TO REDUCE THE VALUE OF THE COUPON. IT IS SO MUCH EASIER!

I use these coupons at Babies R us for the Johnson’s Buddies with no problem. I can’t print off of SmartSource with Firefox either. It just prints me a little picture of the product, no coupon. But I can print them from my husbands computer with Firefox, weird and frustrating.

they are $1.09 at my walmart, and I’ve never had a problem using them at Target, but they are rarely available there. I’ve seen the 3 packs before at Kroger.

Those of you with stores that won’t let you use the coupon since it’s over the price of the item might consider using it in your drugstore matchups. They are usually slightly over a dollar at these stores, but it’s a great filler item if you’re trying to get your total up to use a $/$$ coupon.

If you have a Babies R Us or Toys R Us with the Babies R Us in it they take this coupon, the coupon amount matches the product amount instead of the full $1 off. I have never had a problem with them there.

I have FireFox and cannot print this. I have tried printing it in IE and tho it doesn’t freeze my computer like it does in FF, it only prints HALF the coupon making it useless to me! My hubby has looked at it, has tried printing it at work – had the same issues!, and I just gave up on getting any coupons from Smart Source online.

I emailed Target because mine told me that they wouldn’t/couldn’t adjust coupons.

Target said they WILL adjust it to 97 cents or whatever it is, so you CAN use it.

The link above is for their policy – it even shows that they won’t give cash back.
If you still have trouble, email Target and they will send you a letter, like they did for me, that apologizes and states you can use a 1.00 coupon for a 97 cent product, they just have to adjust it.

FYI – My Wal-Mart usually has a similar price and they don’t adjust – they give me the full value, so I just make sure I have other items. Last week I was 1.89 cents over after coupons and used it towards cat food.

This is directly from Target.com regarding their coupon policy

Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied.
    • We can’t give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.

OMG!! KAREN G THANKS FOR POSTING THAT!! I HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS REGARDING THIS EXACT COUPON LAST TIME IT WS RELEASED, I HAVE BEEN GOING TO PUBLIX AND PAYING. NOW, I PRINTED OUT THE POLICY, AND I AM OF COURSE EXCITED TO GET IT FOR FREE. PLUS, WHEN THE CASHIER ARGUES THAT THEY CAN’T DO SOMETHING THAT YOU KNOW THEY CAN, IT IS GOING TO BE REALLY NICE TO PULL OUT THEIR STORE COUPON POLICY, LOL.

Hubby just went to BRU and used 2 of the $1 coupons for the Johnson’s Buddies, they adjust to .97, took advantage of the trade in event that is still going on and traded our infant car seat (thankfully we still had it) and bought the Tomas and Friends Train Toddler Bed (priced at 279.99), plus we both had the $5 ecard from becoming Facebook fans. Total with tax for the bed and 2 soaps was $218.32. If you have any baby stuff left that is on the list you can get 25% off anything else on the list for every item you trade in. My car seat didn’t even have the washable cover on it but they still took it. Yippie!
