Lowe’s: Micro LED Christmas Lights $2.97

December 3, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 21 Comments

Lowe's LED Christmas Lights Coupon
Darn — I’m so bummed that I didn’t know about this deal just the other day when we were replacing all of our Christmas lights with LED strands. We paid a good bit more than the $2.97 price at Lowe’s after coupon.

GE LED Micro Christmas Lights (50-ct.), $5.97
$3/1 GE Energy Smart LED Lights printable (PDF)
$2.97 after coupon!

This sale price is good through 12/7.

Thanks, Thrifty Mama!

Darn it! Same thing happened here! Too bad they’re all already upon the house, or I’d be all over this!

Not all Lowe’s except manufactors coupons. The Lowe’s that I worked for in Fairview Heights, IL would not take any coupons except Lowe’s coupons.

If they do take coupons at your Lowe’s. Go in and ask for a refund re-ring. They will refund your money then re-sell you the product and use your coupons. Then you will just have to pay the difference. I work at Home Depot and we do it all the time with coupons or when things go on sale!

I just called my local Lowe’s in Maryland and they said they will except the coupons, the only problem is that they are out of the lights! Anyone know where else these can be purchased?

Our Walmart carries them. They’re in the sales ad for Lowes, so you shouldn’t have any trouble price matching them.

I think this would be PERFECT to hold onto because Lowe’s always clearances their Christmas starting about 10 days before Christmas!!! So if you already have them great way to stock up for next year!!

I am fairly new to couponing and I was wondering if you can print this coupon more than once or if this is one you are only suppose to print once. Thank you all for all your hard work you do on these blogs they are so helpful to me.

They had something simliar at Home Depot at the end of November, you have to take your old or broken lights to HD and exchange them for the coupon. We cashed in and got 10 boxes of LED lights!

Gina, PDF coupons are an exception, and you can print multiples of them.

Do you know if you can “stack” these coupons. Like if I want 5 boxes and print 5 coupons, will they allow that?

For some reason I can’t print the coupon! (I don’t have the updated version of Adobe). Can anyone “print screen” the coupon and put into a Word doc? Or other ideas? I wanted to run out today to get them! Great deal!!

We printed off 5 of these coupons and the cashier at Lowes accused my husband of making copies. I find the “coupon police” to be rather annoying as I am very honest and I would NEVER make a copy of a coupon, so typically I show them the different serial numbers, however, with these coupons there is no different number. More than likely you will not have this same experience, but just an FYI.

    Angie,
Stacking coupons is when you use a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon together to purchase one item.

If you use 5 coupons and have 5 items it’s allowed.

They sell these at Kroger and right now all of their holiday stuff is 50% off! A box of 50 with larger LED bulbs was 9.98 and then 50% off and the $3 coupon for a total of about $2 a box!

Kristen I’m sorry you had that happen to you. I have had same experience at Bath & Body Works with those free $13 item if you spend $10. I’ve learned to say “don’t hate me if you aint’ savin like me” and if the computer takes it who are they to ask? they still make money off processing coupons, or they wouldn’t do it.
Speaking of horrible Holiday experiences, twice in one week I was locked into sears and had to walk out the “merchandise pick-up” to get back into the mall and eventually my car. An elderly woman asked if she could walk with us because she was afraid, there was absolutely no warning the store was closing and I naturally assumed that Sears was staying open til 10pm as all the other stores in that mall were. Just a FYI. I won’t be spending any $ at Sears in the near future or if ever I am that upset. Plus I had to walk up a turned-off escalator, I’m disabled and have had multiple back/knee surgeries. People just don’t care anymore.

Lowe’s does not accept the 3.00 off GE led christmas light coupons. They informed me that GE does not honor these coupons. They are only valid at costco, Home Depot, and Meynards in the state of Minnesota so don’t waste your time.It says right on the coupon to void if it has been copied or reproduced. If it is being printed off of the internet then it has been reproduced. I felt really stupid trying to redeem this at a Lowe’s store only to be shut down by 3 seperate employees. At 3.33 its still a heck of a deal.

I forgot to mention that there were signs posted all over the store I went to that said they do not accept these coupons. But like the cheap o that I am I still tried. The staff was nice about it but I still felt really stupid almost like I was stealing from them.
