Elle Christy Lunch BagIn my post the other day on seven easy ways to cut $1 or more out of your daily budget, I mentioned that packing your lunch on a daily basis is an excellent way to make huge impact on your budget. Brown-bagging it can get old and boring quickly though . . . until now.

Cosmoda sent me this adorable Elle Christy Lunch Bag, and it almost makes me wish I had an office job again just to be able to carry my lunch back and forth in it! I was surprised at how nice the quality is, and you’d totally never even guess it’s a lunch bag until you unzip it and see the insulated material inside. Both the interior and exterior wipe clean easily, and did I mention just how gosh darn cute it is?!?

    What a cute bag! Not only do I bring lunch, but I pack a breakfast & two snacks to keep me going throughout the day. Here’s what my menu looks like:
    Breakfast – two turkey sausage patties, whole wheat toast, low fat vanilla yogurt & fresh blueberries
    Lunch – Boars Head Sausalito Turkey w/ lettuce & tomato on whole grain bread, fat free chocolate pudding, pretzel chips, veggie strips & dip
    Snack – Apple w/ organic PB, Grapes, Kashi Granola Bar

    My lunches are usually always well-rounded. I typical lunch I pack is a turkey breast sandwich on whole wheat bread with romaine lettuce, tomatoe and a honey mustard (splenda+mustard). Along with it would be a bottle of water, a granny smith apple and some baby carrots.
