Ladies Who Lunch Giveaway: Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bag

December 3, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

Elle Christy Lunch BagIn my post the other day on seven easy ways to cut $1 or more out of your daily budget, I mentioned that packing your lunch on a daily basis is an excellent way to make huge impact on your budget. Brown-bagging it can get old and boring quickly though . . . until now.

Cosmoda sent me this adorable Elle Christy Lunch Bag, and it almost makes me wish I had an office job again just to be able to carry my lunch back and forth in it! I was surprised at how nice the quality is, and you’d totally never even guess it’s a lunch bag until you unzip it and see the insulated material inside. Both the interior and exterior wipe clean easily, and did I mention just how gosh darn cute it is?!?

Cosmoda wants to help you save money by packing your lunch and still look chic while doing it, so they’ve given me three adorable lunch bags to give away to three lucky Deal Seeking Mom readers!

Would you like to win one of these fabulous lunch bags? Just leave a comment telling me what your favorite well-rounded lunch is that you’d pack!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what lunch you’d pack in this sweet little lunch bag!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. (Use hashtag #lunchbags, please.) You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 of 3 Mario Batali or Elle Lunch Bags (ARV $20-$30)

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Sunday, December 7th. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Monday, December 8th. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

What a fabulous opportunity! Thank you!

I’ve brought lunch to work for the last year, but have really started making my own lunch in the last three months (prior to that I was surviving on frozen entrees….WAY too expensive!). So my new favorite lunch to pack would be along these lines: cauliflower soup (thank you CrockpotLady!), a low calorie bagel, a handful of almonds, some steamed carrots and a piece of fruit. Oh, yeah, and two mini cream puffs, because what’s a meal without dessert???

I typically eat a turkey sandwich, yogurt and apple. Pretty standard, but perhaps a cute lunch pail would inspire me to make more creative lunches for myself.

    Thanks!

I would probably pack a turkey sandwich, chips and fruit. Not very exciting, but I love it!

We are big brown baggers at our house although I tend to be a bit boring. The usual is a pb&j, two pieces of fruit and a homemade granola bar for dessert.

Thank you for the chance to win a wonderful prize!

My favorite lunch is a Boar’s Head Lebanon bologna and swiss cheese sandwich with Miracle Whip salad dressing on wheat bread, potato chips, yogurt, Satsuma tangelo and Diet Coke – and I think it would be even more yummy in a new lunch tote!

I love these bags. I pack my lunch almost every day and have a soft igloo cooler – completey not stylish! My favorite lunch to pack is a chicken ceasar wrap with yoplait yogurt. Every so often, I’ll throw in some fresh veggies such as celery sticks with peanut butter.

My favorite lunch to pack is a turkey wrap, and I love it when I have a cucumber to put on it, mmmm! Then an apple, and pretzels make it complete. Thanks for the chance for one of those cute lunch bags!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
