Kroger: Triple Coupons Central OH Through 9/27

September 25, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 6 Comments

Kroger Triple Coupons
Kroger is tripling coupons in Central Ohio and possible elsewhere through Sunday!

The triple coupons promotion runs Friday 9/25 through Sunday 9/27 and includes most of Ohio (although, sadly, it does not include Dayton or Cincinnati stores) as well as a few areas in West Virginia. Marcy at Stretching a Buck has compiled a partial list of participating cities, but you’ll definitely want to call or stop by your local store to see if they’re participating.

Coupons up to and including $0.50 will triple up to $1.50. Stores that double up to $0.99 will continue to double those from $0.51 to $0.99. If your store does not double over $0.50, that will not change during this promotion.

Participating stores will be tripling internet printable coupons as well, so be sure to take another look and print out any additional coupons that might not have appealed to you otherwise from Coupons.com, SmartSource and RedPlum.

The Deal Seeking Mom Coupon Database will make it easier for you to match up the sales with current coupons as well!

(Thanks, Melissa & Dianne!)

What do we need to do to get the Cincinnati stores included????
This is the second time they have done this and excluded Dayton and Cincinnati :(

I agree, Noelle….What would ol’ “Barney”(Kroger) say…after all, he started Kroger right here in Cincinnati in 1883…(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kroger) Why can’t WE get some special treatment sometime???

I think the reason Kroger has stepped up their game in the Columbus market is the Grand Re-opening of Meijer on Polaris October 2nd and 3rd. See you there!

We’re lucky that there’s just a lot of competition in general here in Central Ohio. I do miss the days when Giant Eagle and Kroger were battling it out on a weekly basis. For a long period they were alternating weeks of super double coupons, and we were able to feed our family for next to nothing!

Have you seen the new Giant Eagle look? All of the employees (at least at the Rt 3 store) are wearing yellow t-shirts about GE’s new lower prices. I also heard a rumor that all the TV stations are going to be in the store sometime this week, so watch for big promotions.

I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I haven’t been to the grocery store in about 2 months. Hubby’s been doing all the shopping while I’m on crutches, but I should be getting my cast off this week!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
