Best deal of the century!!! I got my weeks worth of shopping and then SOME!!! I spent $77 and saved $177!!! It was worth my 5 hours of organizing to zoom through the store passing my the people with their noses in the coupon books, JUST to guarantee that nothing I wanted was sold out.

I spent $220 and saved $300 this morning at Kroger. This included some big ticket items like Diapers and meat.

The store was a madhouse, almost as bad as Black Friday!

    Happy Shopping! :)

I’ve never seen lines like there were today! And, at 6:30 am no less. I think the stores were not planning on us showing up early. There were at least 50 people in the store with their binders and coupons and only 3 checkers. Madhouse!!

Made 2 trips to Kroger…2 carts (DD had one and I had one)

    Trip 1 @ 6am:
    First cart: $197.26 paid $23.09
    Second Cart: $197.26 paid $ 19.36

    Trip 2:
    First cart: $339.42 paid $5.45
    Second Cart $ 339.42 Paid $5.45

I wanted to go back and get more but my husband said there is NO WHERE to put anything…and he is right! But It was a thrill.

I was able to load the back of my car and dump some at the local food bank too because I didn’t have room….

First time to use my coupons, we spent $135 and saved $180 in coupons! Super happy, but we went around 4:30 this afternoon and most of the stuff with great specials was out of stock. If they ever do this again, I will be there when they open!

I’m trying and newly commited to using coupons – I was very
excited to use my coupons at Krogers. Several items were sold
out so next time I will go earlier. I paid $140.00 for $370.00
worth of groceries. Wow Angela I am soooo jealous! How did you
do that? I’d appreciate any tips.

I have 3 children with a total of 5 grandkids. Most of the items purchased are for them. I arrived at our Kroger at 11:30 (Porter, Tx). They started checking at 12:30 with only U-Scan open. They did open up one lane for a bit, but then went back to U-Scan. It was crazy right at 1st then settled down around 3am. Hubby and I each made 2 separate trips. Total of 4 baskets full.

    822.03 groceries – 479.47 less coupons = 342.56 total spent

    58.33% saved

Wow…I went to the Atascocita Krogers and it was crazy…..10 lanes (or something like that in the store) and only 4 were open…..I was PO’ED to say the least!!! I left without anything…I guess it wasn’t worth standing in line for 1 hour ( that was the wait according to the people standing in line) to save a a few bucks!!!

Way to go to the people that saved a bunch!!!
