Kroger: Stock Up On FREE Betty Crocker Potatoes

March 25, 2010 by Deal Seeking Mom 20 Comments

Here’s a fantastic deal that reader Amy emailed me! There’s a new Catalina offer on Betty Crocker Potatoes at Kroger right now:

  • Buy 1 Betty Crocker Potatoes, Get $0.50 OYNO
  • Buy 2 Betty Crocker Potatoes, Get $1.50 OYNO
  • Buy 3 Betty Crocker Potatoes, Get $3 OYNO

All items must be purchased on one shopping order. Offer good through 4/18.

Betty Crocker Pouch Potatoes are regularly priced at $1, so when you buy three packages at $3 in a single transaction, you’ll receive a Catalina worth $3 off your next order basically making them FREE!

Or turn this offer into a money maker with the following coupons:

  • $0.40/1 Betty Crocker Box or Pouch Potatoes via Cellfire
  • $0.25/1 Betty Crocker Potatoes, exp. 5-22-10 (SS 03/28/10 #2)

Check out the weekly Kroger deals for more savings.

Thanks, Amy!

The Betty Crocker coupon says (Except Potato Buds®). Are Potato buds what you have pictured here? I haven’t used my coupon on these types becuase I thought they were excluded. Thanks!

No, Potatoe Buds are different. You can use these coupons on the Pouch Potatoes. I just noticed a few were no longer available, so I edited the post slightly and flagged them on the database.

Do you know if the catalina’s qualify at QFC and Fred Meyer since they’re owned by Kroger? We don’t have Kroger stores here in Washington.

I have a quick ? about these cellfire coupons. If I load a coupon and purchase 3 of the same items, do I get the coupon applied to each item or just one?

There is a .40 off one coupon on Shortcuts that can be added to your Kroger card. I also have a $1/2 which I received in a coupon book in the mail from Betty Crocker.

At the service desk at Kroger I found a Spring Savings coupon booklet from General Mills and the $1/2 for Betty Crocker Potatoes is in it.

My store also had Pillsbury pizza crust tubes at 1.25 each and .40/2 coupons at https://print.coupons.com/couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=13306&zid=iq37&nid=10&bid=alk0325130344ab223178f16518

Gail – cellfire coupons work like normal coupons. The cellfire coupon is good for one product. I wish it would multiply based on the number of the same item you purchased, but it doesn’t. Good question, though.

My question about the catalina is if it’s only good on the boxed potatoes? Has anyone tried it yet with the smaller bags?

The Cellfire can be used in addition to a manufacturer’s coupon which is great!

When did this promotion begin? My local Kroger store has double-packs of Betty Crocker boxed potatoes @ 10/$10. I bought six boxes yesterday and didn’t get the catalina.

Also at Fry’s / Krogers all coupons are worth $1.00 so its better than doubled, especially if your coupon is .10 to .40 cents. So use all of your coupons under .50 cents right now, its for a limited time.

Also Pillsbury is giving from $2 to $4 back on future orders. Buy Pillsbury Refrigerated items.
Buy 4 items and get $2, buy 5 items get $3 and buy 6 items and get $4

    This is also thru 4/18
