Kroger: Earn Double FREE i-Wireless Minutes

May 16, 2010 by Renae @ How to Have It All 14 Comments

i-wireless at Kroger
Kroger has teamed up with i-Wireless to bring affordable cellular service to their customers. When you shop at Kroger and use your shopper’s card, you can earn free minutes for use with an i-Wireless phone. The neat thing about i-Wireless is that they do not require a contract! i-Wireless provides wireless service using the Nationwide Sprint Network.

From now until July 17th, 2010, any new i-Wireless customer can earn double free points by shopping at Kroger. The double free points will be in effect for the first 60 days of service. That means that if you spend $100 at Kroger, you will earn 40 free airtime minutes! You can use your rewards minutes to talk, text or download content to your phone.

If you prefer an unlimited talk or text plan, i-wireless will take $10 off your monthly service plan when you register for the free minutes rewards plan. For the first 60 days of service you will receive a $2 credit to your account for every $100 spent at Kroger.

If you are looking for new wireless service, this is a good way to try a new plan without entering into a contract!

Thanks, The Grocery Weekly!

No, you must have an i-Wireless phone to get free minutes, not another provider. This website will not sign you up for it either, w/ your i-Wireless phone, you give a represenitive your Kroger card number!

Don’t Buy It! The I-wireless policy regarding your expiration date on your prepaid airtime is to subtract any time you have left when you add additional airtime. Any unused minutes will roll over but not expiration time forcing you to either use them or let them pile up. I contacted I-wireless regarding this and they politely explained to me that this information is on the back of airtime cards. They could not however explain to me why this information is not disclosed before or during the purchase of the phone or the service. An airtime card is not required when the initial purchase is transacted. This information is purposely withheld and you do not find out until you have already purchased their phone, which can’t be used with any other service, and activated their service, which lures you in with free minutes to get started. In my opinion, the act of purposely not disclosing this information prior to the purchase is perpetrating fraud upon the consumer.

You control a single hero who, once the game is over, goes back to level 1
for the next game. Select a user account with administrator permissions that you
can log on with its password or the default Windows 7 administrator account you’ve enabled it before.
Run Firefox; Microsofts Internet Explorer is clunky and the
most hacked software on the planet.
