In some markets, Tyson had coupons in the Sunday papers (inside the paper, not the inserts) for $1 off. The last one was on 6/14.

THe Tyson deal is a little misleading as posted here. At my Kroger anyways, they take the coupon off of the package price of the chicken. They don’t take $1.00 off of each pound you buy. It works they way you stated if you buy a 1 lb package, but if you buy a 1.4 lb package, you only get $1.00 off, not $1.40 off ($1.00 per lb).

I found this deal on Saturday, by 10 packets Kool-aid =$1.40 and I had a coupon for free sugar when you buy 10 packets. Kroger Brand sugar was the only product under $2 it was listed for $1.88. Also they had the packages of No Nonsense socks for women on sale for $1.99 had a couple $1 off coupons so I bought 2 packs.

Sorry, Nikki – I didn’t mean for it to be misleading. I assumed readers would know to purchase in 1 lb. increments, but I added the information to make it clear.

I don’t know if it’s the same this week but last week I found the Country Crock with Calcium to be the same price as the rest…$1.99 (before Daytona discount). Using the 50 cent coupon for CC w/ Calcium, it doubled to $1. I think, if memory serves, the Country crock was 1.69 after the Daytona discount, so 69 cents each in the end!

looks like imperial sugar goes on sale for $1.50 starting wednesday at kroger so you can save the kool aid coupon and use it then.

I did not find a tyson coupon in any of those inserts. Are they based on location? I am in Tempe, AZ.

It’s possible they’re regional. Sorry, Melanie! You can probably order some off of eBay. I’m not sure if you’ll get them before the sale is over, but you could hold onto them for the next sale.

The Kroger in Grove City does not have any Tyson chicken on sale for $1.99 a lb. I went to another one in Columbus and it did not either. They have 2 other brands for $1.99 a lb that I bought, but I couldn’t use my Tyson coupons for that though. Also, they said it would only be $1.00 of total of package not per pound.

Love the site and I refer you too ALL ppl!! :)
