Kroger DealsThanks to Andrea at Mommy Snacks for compiling a list of the best deals to be found this week.

Find my faves below, and then check out her site for the complete list. Don’t forget to load your Kroger Plus Card with the latest Cellfire coupons before your shopping trip!

New to couponing? Read up on what all of these abbreviations mean first in my quick reference guide.

The coupon matchups below are based on my local Kroger’s policy of doubling all coupons up to $0.99. You may need to adjust the final price if your store’s policy is different.

No sausage coupon. Also, Kroger only doubles coupons up to $1, so the Crest is $.50 not free. The Mentos is $.29 not $.19. Unsure about the other stuff. Good deals but not freebies.

Thanks, Terri. The doubling policies vary by region. Stores in Central Ohio double all coupons up to $0.99 as noted in the policy at the top of the post. The sausage coupon may be a regional coupon, and I’m not sure what zip code Andrea used to get it.

What if a coupon says do not double. Does Kroger still double the coupon?

It depends on the bar code, Kelly. As long as the first number is a 5, the coupon will automatically double. Coupons that start with a 9 will not double.

Kroger has a mega evert going on now where you purchase $100 of gift cards and get $10 off your transaction. The sign on the door outside had some gift cards pictured, and inside they had hanging tags on all the shelves advertising this promo. I bought 3 gift cards totalling $100 and didnt get the $10 off. I went to cutomer service and she had to find a mangerb/c she didn’t know why it didnt take it off. The manager said it’s only certain ones, and slammed the office door. The lady at CS found another manager to ask her which ones it included, and she said only the pictured on the door. It does not say ANYWHERE that it only includes certain ones. It does say on that sign it excludes Kroger gift cards, but does not list any other exclusions. I called the 800 number and was told it only includes 8 gift cards, and i should have asked before I bought them!!!! I told her they should have signs up that list the gift cards included and she said I’ll forward your thoughts on to the district manager of that store! I was so angry.

Tara…OMG…I did not know that…You mean the little # out of the barcode area or it has to be the 1st # under the lines??? I’m speaking of the Tony’s pizza coupon…It’s for .50 off and these small ones are $1 right now. Thank you for all your help and hard work!

Yep, it’s the small number to the left. Generally they have either a 5 or a 9 on manufacturer’s coupons. Ones that have a 5 will automatically double regardless of what the text says.
