These say “redeem only at publix”… does that mean we can’t use them at other stores? I don’t have a publix near me…

Lisa, it’s probably a YMMV type thing. They will scan as manufacturer coupons, so there’s no reason why other stores shouldn’t accept them, but some managers may be nit-picky, so just be prepared.

I believe they are only supposed to be used at Publix. I don’t think it’s right to try to use them elsewhere. :(

Sara, I’d say not…the front page clearly says “Exclusively at Publix” and while they will scan if your cashier doesn’t catch the “Redeem at Publix” wording…for me personally this goes against what feels right. Publix and Kraft have partnered to offer their customers this deal. Just as Register Rewards are printed from Walgreens and say “Redeem at Walgreens” on them, I’ve been told they too will scan at other retailers, but my gut feeling is that this is is not proper couponing and would go against the “code of ethics” if there were one :) This is just my opinion though…

Of course everyone has the right to their personal opinion and should go with that, but I feel you can use these anywhere. They’re manufacturer coupons that do say “Redeem at Publix” on them, but they don’t say “Redeem ONLY at Publix.” I entered the code off of one of them on http://www.veri-fi.com, and it does not mention that the coupon should only be redeemed at one specific retailer to be valid.

This is definetly one of those areas that we all need to settle for ourselves. I guess I wonder what Kraft would say, I’d LOVE to be able to use these coupons. I have to admit I STILL get nervous at times using totally legit coupons, am I totally strange?! Can anyone relate? So for me…this could put me over the edge, haha.

These don’t say “Maufacturer Coupons” on them, they say “Retailer Coupon.” That wording, in addition to the “Redeem at Publix” at the bottom makes it pretty clear to me!

Tara, I’d have to disagree with you. These are not manufacturer q’s as you said, they are retailer q’s. Publix is the retailer…..these are the same as store q’s. Regardless if they scan somewhere else or not, I think it’s wrong to use them because the other retailers probably won’t get reimbursed for them creating further trouble for us couponers.

I just wanted to say that some of them say “retailer coupon” and some say “manufacturer coupon”

Of the three I printed this is what happened:

$1 off two packages of kraft singles cheese: Retailer

Buy Oscar Meyer meat get $1 off kraft cheese: Manufacturer

    Kraft BBQ sauce: Retailer

Please let us know what your coupons say!

    Thanks

Just wanted to give folks a head’s up on one coupon. I printed the $1/1 Kraft Cheese wyb 1 Oscar Mayer Deli Fresh Meat coupon last month, and tried to use it in conjunction with another q for the OM Deli Fresh meast. However, regardless of the wording, the $1 off cheese q is actually coded to the meat, not the cheese, and the cashier wouldn’t accept it since it beeped. While it should have been a legitimate use (1 q for meat and 1 q for cheese), I didn’t feel it was a battle I needed to fight that day, and simply had her delete the meat and cheese from my order.

I have not printed the new $1 off cheese wyb OM meat q, so I don’t know if it is still coded the same way…am guessing it is. Just an alert that it may be a YMMV situation if you combine it with another OM Deli Fresh meat q. Good luck!

This doesn’t seem fair. It’s like this store made a website that looked like the kraft website and took all their coupons and put their name on them so they couldn’t be used anywhere else

I agree with Tara. I am sure that if they scan up as Manufacturer coupons, then there is no reason why you can’t use them at any store.

When you click on the cooking withkraft page it says “$50 in summer savings only at Publix”

How is that confusing to anyone?

And then at the bottom of the ad it says “exclusively at Publix”

    Again..how is it confusing?

Although I am a little sad because I don’t have one near me…oh well. Hopefully Kraftfoods will reset soon!

I just feel that this would be a good reason for the stores we frequent most to stop accepting IP’s. The few i printed yesterday clearly say “RETAILER COUPON” “REDEEM AT PUBLIX”. I just hate the thought of people trying to use them elsewhere knowing that that store may not be able to get their money back. Some stores are already questioning the IP’s so let’s not give them a reason to ban them altogether.

Christina-I only bought one Oscar Mayer meat (I had a q for something like $.75 or $1 off one). The system was trying to apply 2 q’s to one package of meat, and subsequently beeped. You bought two packs of meat and used two q’s, so you were good.

Hmmm…on second thought though…your q was $1 off TWO, so that should have cancelled out both packs of meat.

I don’t know. All I know is it beeped and the printout spit out something like “coupon already applied” (I don’t remember the exact wording now…it was a couple of weeks ago). I tried briefly to explain to her that one was $1 off cheese and the other was $1 off one pack of meat, but could see I wasn’t going to get very far, and I wasn’t dead set on bringing either of them home at the time. My son likes them, but can live without them from time to time. Maybe they have recoded the q’s since I printed them out, so that they are working properly. I hope it works for everyone!

Dang. I sure wish I’d realized that these would all be Publix retailer coupons. I printed 21 of them, and 20 of them say “retailer coupon” on them. On top of that, my ink is getting low now. :(
