I did this deal in Chattanooga, TN last night. The candles are ringing up $2.99. I paid $1.35 and got back a $3 catalina. Still a fabulous deal, but you might have an OOP!

I did this deal twice last night and used the $3 ONYO to pay for the second one (had to add a filler). I also won a bottle of lotion ($6.99) for using my KMart customer rewards card! :D I plan on hitting KMart again this afternoon…I love these candles and they make nice little gifts to put in a gift basket. :D

Hillary, my receipt says 1/24! Also, I didn’t notice in the original post, but look for a “Buy More Save More” coupon booklet at Kmart. At my Kmart, it was on the end of the laundry aisle! It is store Qs. There is a $2 off coupon for 2 Fragrance Collection items stackable with the MQ.

    Mayra,
Catalina is the name of the company that puts out those coupons you get when you checkout. These are separate machines that are set up near the registers. You can find them at the grocery stores and Walgreens too. Coupons are triggered when you buy certain products. Sometimes it’s for a free product, money off your next order (i.e. ONYO), or it could be so much off a certain product.

Worked for me! Candles were $2.99. Paid $1.35 out of pocket for the two and a $3 catalina came out. :)

This did not work for me! I bought the candles for 2.99 each used the $3 MQ and nothing came out, I returned them and got refunded for the coupon. So I still came out $3 ahead, but it didn’t seem very fair to the Glade company to have to pay for a coupon I didn’t get their product with after all.

    Hey Ladies these Catalinas roll!
keep your eyes open for the 10oz 3 wick xmas scents and xmas reeds- at my store they were ringing 2.24 ea. bought two sets of two with the 3.00 cpns and then started to roll with the kmart 2.00 off coupons mentioned above. I had to use fillers (got a ton of 90% off xmas as fillers-bows napkins table covers etc) to make my total ok with both coupons but it worked and the cashiers were cool about it ;) did like 8 transactions- got 8 3 wick candles and 8 of the reed diffusers plus a ton of other stuff (14 cloth napkins, 2 bag bows, renuzit crystal air freshhener, febreze holiday pack with spray big candle and cookie cutter, 20 holiday table covers, 2 table cloths, 4 big felt trivets , 1 ziploc twist n pac holiday, 4 boxes ziploc qt freezer bags holiday and 7 piece conair hairband set) for about 10.00 oop!!!!! I am so stoked! Also if you find any of the ziploc bags ask for the 75% since holiday pantry items are reduced to that and use the 1.00 coupon in above mentioned coupon book! $. 50 for two boxes!

I did this deal today and it worked out great. I bought two soy candles at 2.99 each. I used the $3/2 mfr coupon and the $2 Kmart coupon and got both for $1.32. I got the $3 catalina as well. I did this twice and used the two $3 catalinas to buy my five year old boy some clothes. Kmarts clearance was another 40% off so I got a pair of PJs and a Buzz Lightyear shirt for FREE! Well, I did pay the 24 cents for tax, but still a GREAT deal.

Will I still get back $5 on the SC Johnson rebate even though I only paid $2.64?? I don’t know if anyone else has done that yet.

Oh no! I forgot to use the Kmart coupon…I bought 2 candles @ 2.99 and used the $3/2 coupon the first time and paid 3.01 plus tax…got the catalina. Did the dal 3 more times as follows….2 candles used $3/2 and $3 catalina and paid 0.46 each time. She had to push the catalina through but it worked. They were nearly out at my Kmart but i got 8 and my daughter loved the green one b/c it matched her room!!

They were 2.99 at the MD store too. I realized that there is a coupon for Huggies Diapers in the Kmart coupon booklet and if you use that+your catalina+a $2.00 off printable you can get two packs for 6.49 each. Not a bad deal!

I did this deal today and the catalina did not print and the manager would not allow me to use the Kmart coupon and the manufacturer coupon….does anyone know Kmart’s policy on coupons? Can you stack Kmart coupons with the manufacturer ones?

    Thanks so much!
