My local K-Mart acts like they want to go out of business! They are now saying they will NOT accept valid internet manufacturer coupons unless they are printed from KMart.com and the barcode starts with a “44”. Anyone else run into this at their store?

I wonder if I should call and ask corporate about this.

My K-Mart is all about taking coupons and getting business. I had one copy of the coupon (printed one coupon from two different computers) that did not have wording on it because the printer was apparently running very low on ink. The cashier (who was also the manager) took the coupon without asking any questions and even offered me an extra booklet with K-Mart coupons in it. I had never thought about going to K-Mart for deals until reading this post but after this experience I will probably may closer attention the K-Mart circular from now on!

I hadn’t been to Kmart in a long time until I saw a posting about cheap cheerios (and other cereals) so I decided to go along with my mom. It was right before closing time, we bought the cereal and the cashier didn’t want to take all of our coupons and only took 1. I explained to her it was one per box and didn’t want to do anything funny w/ coupons. TO make a long story short, we left, with our cereal (because I thought it was a good deal)… the next day, however, I called a manager. He said she should have taken ALL of my coupons if I had one for each item, to take the coupons and my receipt. I did so the next day and got an adjustment for my mom and myself! ugh! that lady cashier upset me but glad I got our $ back for the coupons!

Take the ad and coupon to WalMart. They will price match and take the coupon!! Great for me as the closest KMart is 20 minutes from me.
