Stacy from Saving in Akron just shared with me that she spoke with Kmart customer service directly and was told that ALL Super Kmarts nationwide will be doubling coupons up to $2 next week.
As always I encourage you to verify the information at your local store. Let’s hope it’s true!

Holey Moley! My hubby’s gonna kill me! Our Kmart had doubles the last 2 weeks in a row. I’ve been absorbed in coupon land….I’m sure it will be bittersweet when he finds out ;) Please be nice and leave some for others out there too stockpilers!

This might be a dumb question, but what consitutes it as a Super Kmart? Ours has a very small refrigerated section so is it a regular or Super K?

If the sign at the store says “Super K” – then it is a Super K-Mart. If it has a traditional K-Mart sign, then it is not a Super K-Mart. The Super-Ks have a very large food section – with a bakery and multiple aisles of groceries. They are usually set up just like a Super Wal-Mart.

Hey, I just wanted to confirm the dates on this. Your blog says it starts 5/17 – 5/24 but Kmart is responding in email saying it starts from 5/20 – 5/26. Does anyone know which is true?

Tera, do the sales in your area not run Sunday through Saturday? I can’t imagine them starting it in the middle of the week unless that’s the case.

Ok, I just wanted to give everyone an update. I called Kmart back AGAIN this morning and got more information.
Kmart has stated that they will doing double coupon events ONCE A MONTH as an ongoing promotion. There is currently no end date for these promotions.
This month, All Super K’s are participating. However, they have TWO starts dates. Some stores will start double coupons on May 17th and some will start on May 20th.
You MUST call your store directly to find out which list your store is on. You can find your store phone number here.

Hey, I guess my Warren, OH Super K will be starting on May 20th then – the online weekly circular says their sales begin on wednesdays so I guess that is why it starts in the middle of the week and not on sunday. Does anyone know how far in advance they post the next weekly circular online? I wanted to compare the sales to some coupons on coupon clippers and the one online for Super K is for this week until tuesday.
