Join Me in The One Dollar Give

I know a lot of you are struggling this holiday season. Believe me – we’ve been in that position far too often over the past couple of years. While things finally seem to be on the upswing for our family, it still hurts to see so many others in need.




Perhaps individually it seems like we just can’t contribute enough to make much of a difference in the world, but just think for a moment about what we can do collectively. One dollar doesn’t get you very far these days, but what if we could all find it within ourselves to donate a dollar to a worthy charitable cause? Now, that could make an impact!

Let’s take that concept one step farther. What if we could all find a way to somehow set aside just a dollar a day for the whole month of December and contribute that dollar to a featured organization each day? That would be an amazing thing to see, and that’s why I’m teaming up with Mandi from Doodles’ Place for The One Dollar Give.

We’ve got some awesome bloggers that have committed to participate thus far!

Of course there’s still plenty of room for additional participants, so if you’re interested in featuring your favorite charity, please contact me or Mandi to get on board!  Even if you don’t have a blog or feel like there’s absolutely no room in your budget to participate, please help us spread the word about our cause. 

Big things happen when moms unite in a cause! And of course there’s room for dads too.

To generate interest, we’re holding a giveaway with four awesome prizes.  You could win a $25 Starbucks Gift Card, Elmo Live Doll, Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker, or EyeClops Night Vision Infrared Stealth Goggles just for blogging about our project or being a vocal advocate for the cause.

    I am unable to help (but KUDOS to each of you)! I am hosting a Christmas Crusade and calling on others to help in donating items they can get for free to help the homeless and those on the verge of being homeless.

    I am also trying to generate $5.00 donations to “Soles for Souls. I am offering $1.00 additional support (up to $100.00) to this cause for each person that donates and comments to let me know.
