    I searched the website for my hometown and actually saw a listing of an engagement of a couple I know- pretty cool to see it on a national wesbite (even though I already knew about it).

    I liked the website… it is a neat way to stay in touch with what is going on from your home town, even if you live across the country from where you grew up!

    I registered on xtraxtra—The only thing I found for my city was 2 notices involving members of the military & tons of obits. I tried filtering to see if I could get to any other notices–finally jumped to last posting & was still in obituaries. Guess no one is getting married, engaged or having children. sigh Maybe it is a navigation problem or maybe I’m the first in my small city of 150,000 to check it out!

    Interesting. I got a little confused at first ;) But what’s new. Looks like it runs a search of current announcements. An interesting idea, I’d wonder if it would get too busy to be really useful with all the stuff posted online. I guess we’ll have to wait and see once it is busier and getting more traffic. Haven’t seen anything like this before!

    What a great site – allowing you to get info by zip code or school to see if you know anybody whose info is posted!
    I thought it was very easy to navigate!
