    Went back to Xtraxtra.com

    Password didn’t work, though I typed it twice. Doesn’t say whether it is case sensitive or not. (whether capitals and lower case are seen differently) I did the exact same password, not my error.

    No way for me to get a hint as to what they thought it was. I had to reset it and wait for email with a new one they assigned me.

    I have been using computers since I was 15 and am now 54. I have 7 computers on a network and taught and sold for IBM since 1976! A very long time. I have a mailing list of over 2,000 people and an address book of close to 8,000 people. I’ve been online for over 20 years, dial up BBS’s. I was a certified Beta Tester for AOL software for years, close to 13. I’ve tested tons of software.

    I put Syracuse, NY in xtraxtra.com instead of my zip code. Found 5 pages of obituaries. Every time I hit to go to the next page it said “Error no such page” will redirect you to the home page or click to go back to the prior page. I tried at least 5 times to get to any other Syracuse page, same error every time.

    Funny – The people who say how easy the xtraxtra site is to navigate – what did they do? Xtraxtra seems to be an ALPHA site, not a BETA, meaning it needs more repair – for it to work.

    I would NOT recommend xtraxtra to any of my readers, friends, MySpace, Facebook, Plaxo or Gmail buddies.
    It would just irritate them.

    Sorry I’m not full of praise, but giving praise sites don’t function well is not helpful. I’m registered on Yedda.com, a help site anyone may post a question to. I’m contacted daily via email by the site owners, asked to answer people’s questions about email, online and other problems daily.

    Unless you have a financial interest in this xtraxtra site, you might want to reconsider sending your loyal readers to it. Or at least tell us, the site has bugs and we can help. At least we know what we’re getting into.

    There’s a HUGE difference between people seen as trusted online advisors and – the OTHERS; the people who send us to MLM sites, try to sell us products, Internet Millionaire Programs or get us to sign up for things where they get free services.

    People respect my opinion because I don’t waste their time with junk or something that just serves me. Quantity is not quality. A ton of one time hits won’t help a site launch successfully. Bad experiences turn people off to a site maybe forever. Something to consider.

    I registered at xtra xtra and I love the site!!! It’s so very easy to use and gives accurate information when I put in my zip code. Oh I hope I win the Ipod!!! Mine recently broke and I have been looking to purchase another but this would be a great gift to win!!!

    I have to say.. I am a cyber Sleuth! It takes a lot to impress me!
    I was impressed!
    I moved from NY to GA in 1998 and It is hard to keep with what is going on in my small community back on Long Island.
    I plugged my zip code in and OMG all the obituaries, engagements, weddings, amd Milestones popped right up! I am impressed!

    I would like to see My High School included. That will probably take time as this site seems so new! My twin sister who absolutely knows the scoop on everyone (I call her Scooperella) would Love this site!!!!

    The site is interesting but there isn’t much info out there about Dallas yet. I’m looking forward to checking back often to see updates as new info is added about my city.
