Improve Your Garden Giveaway: The Home Depot $100 Gift Card

July 12, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

sweet-peppers-7-12-09Yes, those are my pretty little peppers! My garden went in late, so it’s just now starting to produce. Hopefully you’re already harvesting your own fresh, homegrown produce!

The Home Depot asked me to share some facts with my readers about their Garden Club, AND they’ve generously given me yet another $100 The Home Depot gift card to give away! The lucky winner will be able to get products to beef up their garden or to help out with any other project around the house.

  • Did you know that members of The Home Depot Garden Club can get their questions answered by experts? It’s true – if you can’t find the answer to your burning garden and lawncare question, you can ask an expert and expect a response within 24 hours.
  • The Home Depot Garden Club also provides valuable information about your region and updates on local gardening events online!
  • And members can expect to receive exclusive coupons and tips, and DIY advice on gardening, lawn care, landscaping and outdoor living projects.

I know I’ve been a happy subscriber for some time now, and the coupons that are sent out are an excellent value.

Want to win a $100 gift card to The Home Depot?

Check out The Home Depot Garden Club site, and then tell me what your favorite garden, lawncare, or DIY project is. If you want to go ahead and sign up for the club, even better!

I like the “Build an Island Bed” Project. We just had a miscarriage in June and would like to create a flower garden as a memorial for the baby that we lost. This Home Depot guide provides great guidance.

My favorite DIY from the Home Depot Garden Club site would have to be the instructions for training a vine over an arbor — my dad installed a beautiful arbor in our backyard, and I know he’d love to add a flowering vine to spruce it up. The tips from Home Depot make it sound completely doable, so I’ll have to share the site with him – thanks!

I visited the Home Depot Garden Club site and would like help with my garden/plants. I’d love to have a compost bin and a water barrel to collect the rain water and use it on my garden! And, eventually, “dress up” my lawn with flowers/shrubs!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
