April 28, 2011 by Barbara @ ClipperGirl's Savings Spot 14 Comments

CVS currently has a *HOT* unadvertised ECB Deal running.  Purchase (3) Frito Lays chips, nuts or sunflower seeds and get a $1 ECB.  The amazing part is that the ECB deal is working on the small individual bags of Frito Lay Chips AND there is a limit of 5!!

Since it is not advertised in the weekly circular, be sure to look for signs near the peanuts and seeds.

Here are a couple of deal suggestions to help you with this deal:

Suggested Scenarios

Buy 15 Individual Size Bags of Frito Lay Chips, 3/$1
Get $5 ECBs

(15) FREE bags after ECBs!!

OR

I am reading that the Frito Lay bags are smaller than the $0.99 bag. They are the same size that you find in variety packs and are normally found hanging near the coolers.

Melissa, they are a small, single serving size (think lunch box bags). I too only found the 99 cent size (a little bigger than the 3/$1). But the $1 ECB is printing for that size too. I have heard that they may be a seasonal item at most stores (back to school)

Allison, you can do this 5 times per card. So $5 and 15 bags
Sara, ECB= Extra Care Buck. When you use your Extra Care card (store loyalty card) you earn these “bucks” that print off as “cash” to use on your next CVS purcase. HTH!
