Groupon Possible Super Bowl Deals + Barnes & Noble Still Available

February 6, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski 2 Comments

Rumor has it that Groupon will be running a commercial during the Super Bowl tonight! This may or may not mean that there will be special Super Bowl Groupon deals, but either way it’s a good thing because it can only mean that they will be able to bring us more of the really great offers like GAP, Bath & Body Works, Land’s End, etc. as more people are aware of the site.

In the meantime, the $20 Barnes & Noble Groupon for $10 deal is still available! I thought for sure this one would have sold out by now, but they must have secured a large number of them. I’m sure the site will be running slow after the commercial airs, so buy early if you don’t want to miss out.

Here’s how to get this deal:

  • Register with Groupon.
  • After you register or if you’re already a member, click here to go directly to the offer.
  • Complete your order, and your Groupon should be available for printing by noon tomorrow!

Expires Apr 10, 2011. Limit 1/person. Limit 1/trans. Valid in-store or online. Valid on sale items. Groupon value reduces by $10 on 4/11, except where prohibited. Groupon issued by Barnes & Noble Marketing Services LLC.

Barnes & Noble doesn’t only carry books — they have tons of great educational toys including LeapFrog, Melissa & Doug and more!

The Groupon deals are donation deals. One however is donate $15 to Greenpeace (to help stop commercial whaling) and receive $15 in Groupon bucks. So it’s essentially a free donation. There are some timing rules, but it seems to be pretty straightforward. I did it!

Just saw it on the GLEE episode! I love Elizabeth Hurley. I thought the commercial was awesome! :)

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
