November 30, 2011 by Deal Seeking Mom

I’m excited to bring you 14 amazing giveaways as part of this year’s Grateful Giveaways: Celebrating a Season for Giving event. For all of my holiday gift ideas, be sure to visit the Deal Seeking Mom Holiday Gift Guide!

The last giveaway for today is one to help you get organized and eliminate paper clutter as we head into 2012!

The NeatReceipts Mobile Scanner and Digital Filing System helps you manage all of your paperwork on the computer. The patented Neat software identifies and extracts the important information from receipts, business cards and documents and automatically organizes it for you in an easy-to-use, intuitive application. All scanned documents can be searched by keyword so you can find exactly what you need.

Key Features:

Scan in receipts to:

  • Save digital copies of receipts and records of vendors, dates, and totals
  • Create expense reports and manage business and personal expenses
  • Keep track of expenses for tax time (records accepted by the IRS)
  • Export data to PDF, Excel, Quicken, QuickBooks, TurboTax

Scan in business cards to:

  • Keep digital images of cards and contact information
  • Capture name, address, company title, etc.
  • Create your own searchable contact database
  • Export data to Outlook and more

Scan in documents to:

  • Create searchable PDF files
  • Edit text using copy/paste
  • Organize and store in your digital filing system

New in Neat software:

  • The Quick Scan Center lets you scan documents from a system tray application
  • The Inbox organizes all of your scanned items and lets you verify and then file the information
  • The application interface has been redesigned to be faster and easier to navigate

Are you kidding me? EVERYTHING under the sun! I am keep everything and know where it all his however, I’m an organizer by nature and a career planner. I keep ALL my reciepts in 1 drawer at the end of the year I box them up and store them. I could eliminate years worth of reciepts! I could keep all those pesky business cards that scatter my desk, my fridge, my purse, my car, my address book and any where else they’ve wandered off too. I would use it to scan all those documents for my taxes, 2 filing cabinets worth of bills. I keep ALL of my children’s art work in boxes by years, I would scan all of it and make disk to put on the front of the box. SO, IF I want to know what’s inside and pull something out all I’d have to do is check the disk instead of years worth of boxes. Oh these things I could do! Keep up w/ all my eBay postage information! Oh… a dream come true!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
