My kids had a blast with these items, and they really did keep them entertained for a significant period of time — especially the patio set. My 3-year-old was excited when the Timmy Time plush showed up, but his eyes really lit up when he saw the patio set box, and he insisted that we put it together right away. It was raining that day, so we set it up in the living room, and my three youngest played restaurant with it all day.

My oldest boys were completely enamored with the Pirates of the Caribbean toys. They’re all about playing pirates, and the glowing ring that came with one of the figures was the perfect complement to their pirate garb.

    I’d buy toys on sale and put them away for days when I needed to relax. I’d bring these “new” toys and games out and my 7 kids would be all over them allowing me a few minutes relaxation.

    well My son loves wonder pets so I can always put that show on for him to either do some things around the house or have a little of me time

    Taking the kids outside to play in the backyard now that the weather is nice. They love being out there and I can sit on the patio and write my grocery list or read!

    Arts and crafts of any kind, from playdough to paints, it keeps them busy for a little while so I can get a little down time.

    My daughters favorite this is getting to watch and episode of Ni Hao Kai-lan. She will sit there the whole 30 mins completly still and quiet. :)

    I try to get them involved, it helps me, and they feel really good about the fact that they can do things to help.
    Sometimes I’ll set them up with coloring activities.
