Grateful Giveaways #2: ZeroWater Prize Package

April 25, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski

Necessity is the mother of invention, ZeroWater® technology was developed to solve a mother’s fatigue from dragging gallons of bottled water jugs home from the grocery store. With the only in-home filtered water system that meets the FDA’s definition of purified bottled water, ZeroWater’s patented five-stage ion-exchange filter consistently delivers the only filtered water to measure 000 parts per million of total dissolved solids.

What does this mean to the average household? Great tasting water that is good for you, with ZeroWater’s patented technology you can have water free of heavy metals (arsenic, chromium-6, benzene, lead, aluminum, chlorine, chromine, copper, perchlorate, mercury) that have dissolved into your drinking water.

Prior to receiving the ZeroWater kit, I assumed that we were doing pretty good with the filtered water from our refrigerator. Boy was I in for a surprise when I tested the water with the ZeroWater tester… My so-called filtered water actually had a higher ppm reading than the water straight from my tap! Nevertheless, ZeroWater was able to achieve a 000 ppm reading as promised, and I can actually detect the difference in taste. Of course, now I’m hesitant to use the ice cubes from our ice maker.

If you’re interested in purchasing the ZeroWater system, use coupon code“zwmom” at checkout to get $15 off a two pack of filters or 8-cup dispenser.

Our second prize pack is from the folks at ZeroWater® and is valued at $120

Each prize pack contains…

  • ZeroWater® 23-Cup Filter Dispenser
  • 8-pack filter refill pack

Clean water is important for us since we’re in the city and of course they put the chemicals in. We want to know what is going in our bodies and I believe that it’s healthier to have pure water. Thanks for you blog!

I don’t like the taste of our water, and if it doesn’t taste good I probably won’t drink it, which isn’t healthy. Clean water would be a good step to being healthier overall.

We dont drink a lot of water because of the taste from the tap and the cost of store bought! This would mean so much to our family! We WANT to drink water, but go for something from the fridge instead. This would be healthier!

I live in NC and lead has actually been detected in our tap water several times! We’ve been buying bottled water for ages as I don’t trust my Brita filter to get rid of all it!

As someone with Lyme disease and other health problems, what we put in our bodies is so important to getting well and staying well. Water is a huge part of that.

I love water and drink lots everyday, but my town water is full of sediment that I don’t like drinking and can’t bring myself to put thousands of plastic bottles in a landfill everyyear.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
