I love to celebrate with Pillsbury when my kids come home from school and they get a good grade on their test, or when they made the team, or even when someone didn’t have such a winning day. I can whip up a Pillsbury cake, brownie or cookie mix in no time, and that makes everyone a winner!

We love desserts! When my husband was diagnosed as diabetic, good desserts that were sugar free were hard to find. Fortunately for us, Pillsbury came out with a sugar free line and now we can still enjoy great desserts when we want them. Life is short, eat dessert first!

I love watching my grandchildren ages 18 months and 4 months learn all the things the world holds. I cant’t wait to bake with them. Until then I would help my son make his birthday on Christmas Eve extra special. We are going to make his cake this year to help save money and teach him more of what he wants to do in life, be a chef.

I never need an excuse to make goodies! :-) But we are finding out whether our unborn baby is a boy or girl on Monday, so I’d say that’s a reason to celebrate!!

A successful day at school! When your child brings home a “green card” (that’s the program my mother uses for her classroom). I use “star student” award for my class.

I agree that we never need a reason to bake and celebrate! I love the look on my daughter’s face when she gets to help Mom mix up a cake or cookies… at 2 1/2, she has mastered dumping the ingredients – AND licking the bowls! :-) We love to bake when there has been an accomplishment, like no potty accidents all week, or when someone has had a rough day. Every day is a great day for baking!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
