As you can imagine, laundry is a never-ending chore around here with five active kids. all® Small & Mighty® laundry detergent is one of my preferred brands, and I love the convenience the new 96-load bottle. Of course it doesn’t last anywhere close to six months around here, but I appreciate the ease of dispensing it and its stain-fighting capabilities!
Two Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a coupon for a free bottle of all® Small & Mighty® 3x Concentrate (up to $6.50)! These would be great to hold onto until the next BOGO sale at CVS so that you can get TWO free bottles of detergent!
To enter, leave me a comment with your best money-saving laundry tip.
Here’s a little tip from me to you — I can generally find a better price on the smaller bottles of All Small & Mighty, so I save my larger 96-load bottle and refill it with them!
Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

Hang your clothes outside to dry instead of using the dryer. You save on your electric bill.

I buy detergant when it is on sale and with coupons and stock up when this happens. I also don’t use as much as they say on the bottle.
Cindy
I only buy All Small & Mighty (which I love) when it is on sale or I have a coupon. I use dryer sheets at least twice. I wash as much as possible in cold water.

I use the auto dry function to save on energy and use the warm water cycle instead of hot to save on energy. And don’t forget to use coupons coupled with sales for the best deals.

I always use a small amount of detergent for each load. You don’t need to fill the cap!
Thanks!

I use half the recommended soap and I also use plain old white vinegar instead of fabric softener. I also line-dry as much as possible. Oh, and only wash on cold water.

I only buy detergent when it is on sale and with coupons. Also we only use 1/2 of the recommended amount of detergent per load of laundry. Make sure you have a full load when you wash to avoid wasting water.

I save money by using less soap. You don’t need as much soap as they tell you you do.
Rebecca
I look for sales and use a coupon everytime. I’m not picky on what brand I’m using. Using just one-third of the recommended amount still gets the job done. I use vinegar as my softener.

I fill a small bag with dried lavender buds and toss it in the dryer. This is very inexpensive and makes my clothes smell lovely. thanks for the contest.
