Giveaway: $100 Walmart Gift Card

November 28, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

If you were excited about my $50 Walmart gift card giveaway, I’m hoping you’ll be doubley excited about a $100 Walmart gift card!

That’s right – I’ve got a $100 gift card ready to send out to make one Deal Seeking Mom reader’s Christmas a little merrier, and I’ve been assured that this will definitely arrive in time for the holidays.

I’ll make entering easy for everyone!

Check out the new Walmart 2008 Holiday Gift Guide as well as the Walmart website and let me know what gifts you’d spend this cool $100 on.  I’d like to know what the item (or items) is, who it’s a gift for, and why you think it would knock their socks off this Christmas.  Maybe this will help give us some ideas for those hard-to-buy-for people we all know!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what gifts you would purchase with this $100 gift card answering my questions above!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 $100 Walmart Gift Card

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday, December 1st. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Tuesday, December 2nd. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

Well, my husband just lost work 3 out of 5 days a week. His job is commission based, and there is no base salary. So honestly, I would use it for my family- for either grocery needs or gifts for my kids… we just dont have much to spend without these accounts my husband lost, so money is tight and an extra $100 would be a major blessing! Thanks!

I would use it towards the Kodak V1073 digital camera (or another digital camera of some kind) as we just had a new baby, and we need a new camera – BAD! This would of course be for my husband, who is the photo person in our house. He has an old ancient digital camera and has wanted a new one for a long time, but doesn’t want to spend much money right now. This would be a WOW present for sure this Christmas.

I would get my daughter the Fisher Price Loving House Grand doll house for my daughter for Christmas. It would make her happy becasue a doll house is the only thing she has been asking for. (except a new kitchen which she is not getting because that was her big gift last year!). With the left-over money I would either get some more accessories for the doll house – or spend it on myself – which translates to groceries!

I have dear friends who are currently in Russia picking up their two new children. I’d use this gift card to help restock their fridge and make them a few meals to help make the first few days home a little easier without having to brave the stores.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
