Giveaway: $100 Walmart Gift Card

November 28, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski

If you were excited about my $50 Walmart gift card giveaway, I’m hoping you’ll be doubley excited about a $100 Walmart gift card!

That’s right – I’ve got a $100 gift card ready to send out to make one Deal Seeking Mom reader’s Christmas a little merrier, and I’ve been assured that this will definitely arrive in time for the holidays.

I’ll make entering easy for everyone!

Check out the new Walmart 2008 Holiday Gift Guide as well as the Walmart website and let me know what gifts you’d spend this cool $100 on.  I’d like to know what the item (or items) is, who it’s a gift for, and why you think it would knock their socks off this Christmas.  Maybe this will help give us some ideas for those hard-to-buy-for people we all know!

Every reader has three methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, or three for up to a total of 3 entries!!!

1. Leave a comment sharing what gifts you would purchase with this $100 gift card answering my questions above!

2. Subscribe to my feed via RSS or email and leave a separate comment letting me know you have done so. If you’re already a subscriber, simply leave a separate comment letting me know you’re already subscribed. Lovin’ my subscribers! You guys make this all possible.

3. Spread the word about this contest in some manner and come back and leave a link in a separate comment. If you have a blog, you can blog about it. But if you don’t have a blog, you’re not at a disadvantage. You could review and Stumble it. You could Twitter it. You could post about it in a forum. Use your imagination!

It is important that you leave a separate comment for each type of entry because each comment is equal to one entry. Sorry to harp on this, but it really is that important to tally and select the winner easily, so I thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me simplify the process!

Prize:
1 $100 Walmart Gift Card

This giveaway ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Monday, December 1st. I’ll use Random.org to generate a number that corresponds with the winning comment number and post the winner on Tuesday, December 2nd. Good luck!

While you’re in a contest entering mood, don’t forget to check out the Giveaway Gathering for a variety of contests being hosted on Deal Seeking Mom readers’ blogs!

I also signed up for your e-mail subscription. I thing your site is the best. I come here every week before I go grocery shopping. My husband is amazed at how much I am able to save. Thank you so much for all the great information.

There is so much to choose from…I like it all!!! I’d get some of the coffee giftsets for my husband who will be doing some military training away from home next year and then some toys for the kids!

My son would love to have the night vision goggles.
I could totally see him searching for things at night
in the woods behind our house!!

I just got a trampoline at Wal-Mart yesterday!! We’re trying to do more relational gifts – – things that encourage togetherness – – and I’m hoping this will be a great thing for our family!!

I’d put the $100 toward the GPS for my fiancé; he’s badly in need of one (as much as anyone can truly “need” such a thing, anyway). And as we have no children in the family to buy toys for, that eliminates most of the gifts in the catalog.

We were hoping to get the boys a power wheel for Christmas, the boys are 3 and 2 only 14 months apart and I know that they would LOVE one. And since I dont really think that we can afford one this gift card would be just a God sent. Since being in and out of the Dr’s with the 2 year old Auston and finding out there is something going on with his heart and just leaving us hanging until he see’s the cardiologist has really put a damper on things. I hope to be able to find the Christmas sprit soon. Not having to stress about where Christmas money was coming from would be amazing. THanks for posting such an amazing giveaway!!

I would use the gift card to buy toys for those teens who are part of our local Toy Drop. The Toy Drop is historically always in need of gifts for the older kids and it would be nice to be able to get a number of things.

Thanks for your blog … I love it!

I would buy groceries with the $100. My husband is a salesperson at Lexus and times are a bit tough in the car industry. This would really help alot!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
