I’m confused about the cheerios coupons. When you print the coupons they say do not double or triple. Both coupons are also specifically for each of the products. How do you get them for only a $1? Is there a special promotional price at GE that makes it possible?
Tara Kuczykowski
Shane, the doubling at a grocery store happens automatically. The coupons will double whether or not the manufacturer wants them too, and it’s likely that the cashier wouldn’t know how to override this process even if she wanted to. The stores foot the bill for the doubled portion, no the manufacturer, so ultimately it’s their decision.

So, do you mean that they could double the coupon, but also decide not to? Am I understanding that correctly?
Tara Kuczykowski
No, I mean that I’ve never had a store deny doubling a coupon because it states “Do not double” on it. It happens at the register automatically when it scans based on the barcode.
