Gap: 10,000 FREE Pairs of Jeans!

Tomorrow — Friday, 11/5 — you can score a FREE pair of jeans  if you have an iPhone or iTouch and use the Facebook Places app.  Here’s what you do: check-in at any Men’s & Women’s Gap using your app, and then show any Gap employee your check-in and you could score a FREE pair. If you’re too late for the FREE pair, you will get 40% off any regular priced item.

The Gap Free Jeans Event begins on Friday, November 5 at 10 a.m. Don’t be late!

Thanks, Common Sense With Money!

As a note, it works with Android Facebook App and any internet-enabled mobile phone too! Not just the iPhone :)

Thanks, Laura, I did wonder why it would be exclusive to iPhone. I was about to boycott The Gap!

Will this be good at Gap outlets?

This only works if you can get to Facebook Places on your phone. So, iPhone and Andriod. But it doesn’t work for Palm Pre or Blackberry (and there may be others out there). Too bad Gap made this so narrow.

Oh yea, and they are not returnable, but they are exchangable for a different size, etc. Also, all styles qualified (priced at $59.50) but only the light colored jeans. They didn’t let you get the really dark ones. I got the “sexy bootcut” and they are amazing! I hope some other mom’s can score a free pair as well!

Even though I was there promptly at 10 with a few people standing ahead of me in line, I didn’t make the cut. I would guess maybe 10 or 15 people got the free jeans at this location. Bummer.

I got my free pair! Thank a ton for the heads up. We weren’t limited to color at my Gap.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
