According to Snopes.com the Whataburger offer is a fraud. Bummer!

Oh wait! I just noticed that the Snopes.com page was last updated in 2007. So, maybe it’s legit this year!

Don’t ever go to Sears Portrait Studio!! The pictures are not that great. And when I try to use the “free 10×13 wall portrait” coupon, the csr said I had to buy a $300 package to use the coupon. I told her that it wasn’t specify on the coupon. She highlight the text “restriction apply” and showed it to me. I asked her where would I know the restriction and she said “We told you the restriction!” … That’s bull crap! I end up decide to use one of my package coupon for 7.99 but then she is charging me 14.99 for session fee when the top of postcard with the biggest letter “NO SESSION FEE”. She said the “NO SESSION FEE” only apply to top part of postcard. They end up waived the session fee after I request to see the manager. What a unpleasant trip. Don’t go there. They will try so hard to have you buy the package and it take 2 weeks for the pictures.

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT. Read more.
