Free CVS Brand Skin Care Items (Or Really Cheap)

June 15, 2008 by Tara Kuczykowski 16 Comments

Use the $2 off any CVS Brand Skin Care coupon from Reinventing Beauty magazine and you can receive the following items free. It doesn’t expire until 8/31/08!!!

FREE Items

  • CVS Beauty Bar soap 2-pks were $1.99 and in the following varieties – Exfoliating, White, Cool Moisturizing, Sensitive Skin
  • CVS Emerald Mist Deodorant Soap 3-pk in Aloe Vera or Hydrating Burst
  • CVS Aloe Cool & Fresh Light Moisture Lotion 3.3 oz $1.49
  • EOB loofah bath sponge $1.99
  • CVS Advanced Healing Fragrance Free Lotion 97 ML $1.49
  • CVS Mild Hypoallergenic Baby Oil 4 oz $1.49
  • CVS Total Moisture Dry Skin Lotion 3.3 oz $1.49
  • Many types of CVS hand sanitizers and liquid hand soaps are priced $1.19-$1.99

CHEAP Items

These items were a little more than $2, but they end up being cheap after the coupon, and could make good fillers.

  • CVS Kid’s Body Wash $2.99
  • CVS Sunblock lotion SPF 30 2 oz- $2.19
  • CVS Medicated Apricot Scrub $2.99
  • CVS Hydrating Body Wash w/ essential oils 12 oz $2.99
  • CVS Moisturizing Body Wash 12 oz $2.99 in the following scents – Ocean Breeze, Cucumber Melon, Milk & Honey, Lavender and Chamomile, Pure Silk

The coupon does say it cannot be combined with other CVS, so YMMV with $3/$15 and any of the above, but it has been confirmed that the registers don’t beep when you use them in tandem. Thanks to AFullCup.com.

You may use it more than once, but I believe you may only use one per transaction. Of course, this will probably vary by store, though. It’s good through 8/31, so you should be able to work it into a lot of transactions between now and then!

I’ve tried printing this coupon, but it keeps cutting off part of the side and the barcode at the bottom (even when printing at 50%)…any ideas??

I printed mine out at 30%. However, it would not scan at the store. They did accept it, though.

I highlight the coupon, right click, and “copy” it. I, then, paste it in Microsoft Word. I click on the coupon again and shrink it down to size. I can fit two on one piece of paper.

Thanks for pointing this out, Snookums! I see that it does say that it cannot be conjunction with any other CVS coupon. However, I have not had a problem combining this with a $/$$ off coupon or other CVS coupons. Now, I have heard that people have been denied using two of the same coupons in a single transaction, but many people have also successfully used two like coupons at one time.

As is the case much of the time with couponing, your mileage may vary (YMMV). Many stores will allow you to combine it with other CVS coupons, but there’s always the possibility that you’ll get a cranky cashier at any given time.
