FREE Chavrie Goat Cheese By Mail

April 3, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 17 Comments

Get FREE Chavrie Goat Cheese when you join the Chavrie “For the love of Goat Cheese” Club! I’m not sure that I’ve ever tried goat cheese, but I was intrigued to see that they recommend using it instead of sour cream.

Thanks, Super Coupon Girl!

I don’t know about goat cheese instead of sour cream, I think the texture would be all wrong. However, we have been using greek yogurt instead of sour cream for years. Saves a ton of calories, and tastes the same to me. You can just pile the stuff on. Try it!

Hmm, not sure I’d substitute it for sour cream, but it has a wonderful, salty taste. So creamy and good on salads!

I would never use goat cheese instead of sour cream! They are…..not the same at all :P

However, warm up a little blueberry or raspberry jam and pour it over goat cheese, top with walnuts and eat with crackers or bread….yummmmm :)

    Thanks for this heads up!

It looks like they’ve changed the offer. It didn’t ask for a UPC previously.

Worked great with UPC code! Thanks for the post. BEST EVER goat cheese recipe? Take 1 jar Classico tomato basil sauce – put in ovenproof casserole or dish – sprinkle goat cheese on top. Bake 1 hour-ish at 325 until cheese is at consistency you want. Serve hot/warm or at room temp with garlic crisps, crackers, bread. I made this up based on 2 similar restaurant dishes (La Tasca in Arlington heights, IL, and Wildfire in Chicago area). My most requested recipe.

I take green seedless grapes, roll them in goat cheese and then roll in chopped up pistachio nuts (or whatever nuts you have available). Put them in the frig for about an hour and they are soo delicious!
