FREE Bounce Dryer Bar From Viewpoints

September 22, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 34 Comments

FREE Bounce Dryer Bar
If you missed the Vocalpoint Bounce Dryer Bar sampling opportunity, here’s another chance at getting a free bar to try out! Sign up with Viewpoints to see if you qualify for the program.

I wasn’t familiar with the Viewpoints program, but I’ve been talking with a rep from the company and it’s an intriguing concept. You earn points for participating in discussions and writing reviews. You can’t cash them in for anything of monetary value, but you increase your reputation with the more points you earn. The more you interact, the higher your reputation is and the more likely it is you’ll be chosen to participate in these special sampling events.

If you’ve been a member of Viewpoints, I’m sure we’d all love to hear your perspective!

I know of a Vocalpoint; but not Viewpoint. The reviews for the bounce bar are not promising. I don’t see this product going far, and I have alot of coupons I am going to leave on the shelf at the grocery store. My concerns without buying this product (and I won’t be) are exactly what people have written about and their displeasure with it.

You’ve seen a lot of bad reviews? That’s interesting because I absolutely love it. It’s super convenient, and all of our clothes are soft and smell so good. It doesn’t last nearly as long as the packaging says for us, but then we have much more than the average number of loads of laundry a week with 5 kids. We’ve used several bars and haven’t had a single issue.

I haven’t try it out yet, I have 2 of them from Target, but wasn’t sure how to use it…do you take it off that white plastic thing and then put it on the dryer or leave the white plastic thing on?

You leave the white plastic piece on. Just peel the backing off and stick it to the inside of the dryer drum, and that’s it!

DSM, I’m excited to learn more about Viewpoints. Hadn’t heard anything about them, and had to do a double take that you weren’t talking about Vocalpoint (which I’m just overwhelmed at their great samples lately!!). I signed up and did a Kashi Honey Sunshine Cereal review. So, the rep said the points don’t cash in for anything monetary, but give you status for top samples? Kindof like Bzz Agent, I suppose. Nice find, thanks Tara!

I have had a few problems with the bar coming off the clip butonly twice and all i did was slip it right back on the clip. It make the clothes smell so much nicer even if they sit in the dryer for a few hours after it shuts off. I will be buying a refill this one has so far last about 3 weeks. I like it.

I love the dryer bar. I got my at Target and actually just picked up another a few days ago. I was leery at first because it didnt seem to be working, but after about 3 or 4 loads of laundry with it, then it really kicked in. I love how my clothes smell and feel when they come out of the dryer, and it lasts awhile too. Tara like you I have 5 kids and do ALOT of laundry. My first bar has lasted 3 weeks so far (the 2 month bar). And best of all, all my family is ok with it. Have had allergy issues with severl other fabric softners and detergents for that matter. I think its a great product.

I love the bounce dryer bar. I received a coupon through vocalpoint and decided to give it a try. It makes my clothes smell so good. I have never had any problems with it falling off or leaving a residue.

What I don’t get is most places say NOT to use any fabric softeners on towels but how do you avoid it if the dryer bar is attached to your dryer?

I think the dryer bar worked well, but I was silly enough to put my son’s cleats in the dryer without even thinking about the poor dryer bar. It got broken into pieces and I had shredded dryer bar all over the inside of the machine…DUH.

I always use fabric softner on my towels but occasionally i will wash them with a but of vinegar. This helps get the residue from the fabric softner off your towles thus makes them more absorbant. Hope that helped.

I loved the dryer bar the 1st few times I dried clothes, ( the clothes smelled great, I didn’t have to worry about my boyfriend not putting in a dyer sheet etc etc.) but then the scent went away…I won’t be buying another one…I’ve dried about 20 loads of clothes since putting the bar in and now it’s just like nothing is there.

I got it with Vocalpoint—it made the clothes smell really good but the bar WOULD NOT stay stuck to the dryer! Even the plastic part you stick on kept coming back. I went back to using dryer sheets but it’s too bad—the bar made the clothes so much softer.

Ive never used the dryer bar but I think that using 2 dryer sheets will yield that super soft feeling the dryer bar provides as you are simply using more product with the bar. I use 2 dryer sheets often and everything is sooo soft.

I got my bounce bar with stacking coupons at target for what, .79 or something? I love it, smells good, one less thing I have to do when throwing a load in. Haven’t had any problems with it coming off. I just followed the directions! :)

Tried out the Bounce dryer bar. I put the bar in my dryer Monday did 5 loads of clothes, except for a few spots on dark clothes it was OK. Today I put another load in the dryer, the bar fell off the wall, broke into 3 large pieces and many small pieces. Everything needs to be rewashed. Called 1-800-bounce they will give me a new bar or box of dryer sheets when I return the bar. They will supply envelope and postage for the dryer bar. Now I get to scrub this stuff off the inside of my dryer.

I washed a load of my husbands darks and removed them within 10 minutes of the dryer signal. My husbands jeans had whitesh marks all over them as did his black shirts. My daughter bought this product when I told her I had found it and she told me she promptly removed it from her dryer after drying her navy blue quilt and ended up with those same whitesh marks. This is a horrible product. They need to come with a plastic, vented cover to protect clothing.

LOVE THE BOUNCE BAR!!! Have 2 boys and do TONS of laundry and this is so much more convenient then those pesky annoying dryer sheets! It works better than using liquid downy in the downy ball too!!! Clothes smell fresh and towels come out softer than before! Haven’t had any issues with it whatsoever. Used a coupon for $1 off to try it and then had Vocalpoint send me one too! I’m in love with this new product and hope it sticks around!

I love this product. You place it in your dyer and forget about it for a couple of months. Absolutely no static like I get from the sheets and liquid softener. I hope this is around for years to come.

I tried this and the next day was covered in HIVES!!! Never had a reaction like this before to any dryer sheets. If you have sensitive skin watch out!
