    I always tell my daughter to try everything once. Be it the book about something you don’t like or trying sushi for the first time. It may be the best thing ever and you won’t know if you don’t try.

    we spend lots of time outdoors do lots of various activities…we camp, hike, bike, walk explore museums, fish and canoe just a short list. We encourage the kids without pushing…we also let them be kids and encourage them to ask lots of questions…to be inquisitive and curious.
    One new thing we did this summer was put out our first garden…they loved picking out the veggies for their section and this helped them eat more veggies too.
