I don’t really have a DIY project since I rent but I could TOTALLY use the Carpet Cleaner for these horrible carpets! And I would probably get some paint to paint the house before I move!

I would rent a tile saw and get to work on the nasty old bathroom that has not been updated properly since the 20’s!!! [I think the previous owners forgot how to use caulk, so I am afraid of what lurks under my current shower materials–I think it is just sheets of hard plastic that were cut to fit and liquid-nailed to the studs :( Not so much a remodel as a lick-em-n-stick-em effort.]

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
