I had a question – how can you submit for two rebates? From what I could tell, all three are for UP. And you usually have to mail in your receipt with the rebate.

The movies have two proofs of purchase on them, and I believe all of the rebates allow copies of your cash register receipt. And yes, you can use the manufacturer’s coupons anywhere.

Apparently, ALL Target stores are completely out of Monsters Inc in the state of Utah. Just thought I’d give you a heads up. Bummer.

Targets in CA lowered the price for UP to $19.99! I had to go to 2 stores though, since like Marcie, all of the stores are out of Monsters Inc. I got the LAST one at my store (phew). Price matched to Best Buy with no problem. $6.76 each after tax!!!

I’ve never felt inspired to price match at Target… but this is totally worth it! We have a Best Buy right across the street from our Target, so I doubt price matching will be an issue. Thanks for posting – and wish me luck!

Best Buy’s ad states that you get $10 off of Monsters Inc. when you buy UP Blu-Ray…the actual price of monsters inc. is $28.99. So target may give you an issue price matching this since $18.99 isnt the actual sale price….just a heads up.

How do I price match? Should I bring the Best Buy ad to Target Customer Service, or do I just show it to the check out person?

Aren’t the movies a combo pack, wouldn’t that be considered 1 item? How do you use 3 coupons for 1 item. I understand using the target coupon to match one of them, but 2? Thanks for the help.

If you dont want to spend the extra $ on the Blu Ray/ DVD combo, I found that these coupons work when you buy the regular DVD. I bought the UP DVD @ Wal-Mart today for $19.99 -$10.00 coupon =$9.99. This has also worked on the Tinkerbell and Snow White DVD’s even though the coupons are for the combo packs. I know there are better scenarios but I live in a extremely small town and would have to drive over 2 hrs. away to go to Best Buy, Toys R Us, ect.

So, would Target price match Wal-Mart’s prices? Are Best Buy’s just the best prices in print right now?

They should price match any print ad you have. I don’t believe they’ll price match online prices though.

We found the only copy of Monsters Inc. available in our city (out of 6 Targets!). It had a peelie on it for $10 off when you purchased both movies, used the $10 Q for Up and the $10 Target Q with price matching from Best Buy. Got both movies for $11 including tax. And I plan to do at least the pasta rebate, maybe the popcorn one depending on the prices of the products. Thanks for the post. Just wish there were more copies available at other Targets because we want to tell our friends.

CVS has a deal as well. If you buy$20 worth or Duracell batteries, it makes UP $10. Tack on 2 of those rebates and it’s less than $5. I stocked up on batteries for Christmas w/ ECB and got the movie! Haven’t seen it yet, so I’m excited!

I went last night to my local Target in NJ (Monmouth County) and they were sold out of Monsters Inc. The guy in the dept said that since sales are down, they are shipping less items to stores (note: that meant only 20 copies of Monsters Inc were brought to this store). The closest store that had any in stock was in Brooklyn, NY (a 2.5 hour drive w/traffic). I told him that the Target company representatives weren’t thinking too clearly when they issued a target web coupon for $10 off both and there are manufacturer’s coupons being released. We went to the Best Buy a quarter mile away and bought their deal. The cashier didn’t even look at the coupons and rang up TWO $10 off coupons! Got both Blurays for $22.98+ tax!!!
I would have loved to get them at Target for the price match with BB, but getting reward zone points and the cashier’s error made up for it :)

Is this coupon really working on the reg. dvds? Not blu ray/combo? I’m afraid to try because lately cashiers have been giving me a hard time with coupons.

I went to a Target here in Virginia. The manager said that they will honor the $23.99 price for the Up Blue Ray but they will not honor the $18.99 price for the Monsters Blue Ray. (I had both in my hand)He said they don’t double up(no special deals) just straight out sale price. I tried but he wouldn’t budge. Doesn’t make sense, thought Target would honor the whole sale combination deal when you buy both Up and Monsters Blue Ray when you show them the Best Buy ad which is what I did. Any suggestions?

my target had no monsters inc, but they did have Up that rang up for 19.99! Still a good deal less than $10 for blu ray. Using it as an extra Christmas gift!

Tara, you might want to note on your post that the price you listed for Up is for the regular DVD, not the combo pack. I, too, used the similar Tinker Bell coupon on the DVD – unknowingly. No problems, but I still have a guilty conscience… I know that’s not what Disney intended the coupon to be used for.

I just called the corporate office of Target. Apparently, they do not honor special deals (Best Buy Ad) buy Up Blue Ray and then get $10.00 off Monsters, Inc. Blue Ray which would be $18.99. The representative has been swamped with phone calls. Told her that I wasn’t pleased that here in Virginia at my Target the manager wouldn’t honor the ad where in other states the stores are honoring the Best Buy ad. She said the other stores were wrong in following through with this. They’ve had numerous number of calls.

Shannon, I’m confused. The $23.99 isn’t for the combo pack price match at Best Buy? I just reported the deal as Couponing to Disney sent it, so I assumed that was the correct price.
