I’m not sure if it’s a typo or if my coupon value is just different from yours, but my Blink coupon expiring 8/1/09 is for $4 off any — that’s a pretty big moneymaker, and I won’t be able to take advantage of it :(

Where did that $4 Blink coupon come from? What’s the V stand for? I don’t have it. Shoot! I’ll have to settle for the $1.50. :)

Do they allow you to use the $1/1 coupon along with the BIGI Free coupon or can you only use one of the two??

Hi! Just a question- since the ECB’s won’t print out unless you spend $10 on the Stayfree, won’t the B1G1 (which will make your total less that $10) prevent the ECB’s from printing?

Jaime, ECBs print based on your total before coupons. This is how we’re able to get such great deals at CVS! :D

For the ones that have A LOT of coupons, how do you benefit from this with those coupons when they are a limit? I’m new to this and trying to figure out if they are ways you can get around that limit or what do you do?

    Thanks in Advance!

Amy in LA — didn’t look up the Blink coupon yet, but last night I went onto The Coupon Clippers website (www.thecouponclippers.com) and they still had plenty of the Stayfree B1G1 coupons. They do have a minimum total amount to buy (I think it’s $3 in coupon purchases + .92 S/H) but if you explore or do searches on their site you probably can find some other great coupons. I bought a bunch of the Stayfree coupons when Rite Aid had their sale, and just ordered some of the Schick $4 coupons for the Rite Aid gift card. Or you can also look for the coupons on trading boards or on ebay.

I’ve gone through a stack of my SS but can’t find the B1G1 Stayfree coupon. Can someone tell me what’s on the cover of the 6/28 SS?

Michele, I’m not sure what’s on the front, but I just wanted to tell you that the dates are written in very fine print on the spine of all the inserts. It’s kind of hard to find what you need quickly though, so I always take a Sharpie and write the date of the insert on the front cover.

Okay so can someone help me with Stayfree? :) If I have a BOGO coupon and 1 $1 dollar off coupons, would that fulfill the transaction requirements for receiving $5ECBs?

And, if I’m doing the math right, if I’m using these coupons correctly, would the total be $4.00 out of pocket before the $5ECBs?

Thanks in advance for your help!

In addition, to my question, I actually have 2 BOGO coupons and 2 $1 off coupons… Would it be smarter to get 4 stayfree products w/ the E$5 ECBS?

My CVS takes manufactuar coupons up to a month expired…. I know not all CVS do this but more and more in the Detroit area seem to be doing this…. and I figure it might be worth checking out.

Liz, to maximize your savings, you’ll want to buy two products and use one of each coupon per transaction. Your first transaction will be $4 out of pocket and you’ll get $5 ECBs. You can turn around and do a second transaction using the same scenario, add a small filler item that costs around $1, and your OOP should be pennies because you can pay with the ECBs from the first transaction.

You need to use a filler item because otherwise your total would be less than the ECBs you’re paying with. Most cashiers will adjust them down, but then you’re losing $1 needlessly. Just use that $1 to buy something else small you might need.

Tara thanks for the info on the dates. I’ve looked everywhere for dates on my SS and RP but couldn’t find them. Never thought to look on the spine : )

I had this figured out earlier… I even ordered B1G1 coupons… and printed the $1 ones.

But all of a sudden I can not figure out how the stayfree deal is a moneymaker? I must have shopped too long today! Someone explain this again for me please? lol

    Amy,
You use one of your B1G1 coupons and one of your $1 coupons. Your OOP will be $4.00. You will receive $5.00 in ECB. You have made a $1.00 on the deal.
If you have extra coupons, you can do the scenario again, using Tara’s instructions above to Liz, but you will not get ECB’s on the second transaction, because it is a limit of one (1).
If you do the scenario twice you will have received $20.00 in stayfree products and a $1.00 item all for an OOP of $4.00!
Too bad I don’t have any B1G1 coupons. How long does it take to receive them if you order them? Will I have enough time to get them?

Thanks, Deborah! I knew it made sense!

I got some on ebay and I just got an email saying they have shipped. Hopefully they’ll be here by Saturday… if not I’ll go when I get them in!

I still can’t figure out WHY I couldn’t figure that out last night… haha!

Hey! The ad says limit one per customer. Does that mean I can only do the deal once? Like if I buy stayfree in one transaction for the $5 ECB, can I not then buy $10 worth of Listerine? Does that make sense?
