I’m kind of confused. So, I purchase 2 Natural Dentist Mouthwash for $9.99 each (totaling $19.98 for both). Then I use 2 of the $2.00 off coupons – thus bringing the out-of-pocket total to $15.98. With the $4 ECBs, the total spending is now $11.98. So, even with the $10.00 rebate, I still spent $1.98 out of pocket.

So, I guess that brings me to question if I’m figuring this out right. If the price is $6.99 each (totaling $13.98 for both). Then I use 2 of the $2.00 off coupons – thus bringing the out-of-pocket total to $9.99. With the $4 ECBs, the total spending is now $5.99. So, with the $10.00 rebate, the final cost is free with a $3.99 profit, yes?

Oops, I guess I didn’t write this out clearly. You get $4 ECBs on each bottle you purchase, so if you purchase 2 bottles, you’re getting $8 in ECBs backs. I’ll go back and see if I can make is clearer. Thanks!

I loved this deal when I first saw it last week! Any deal where I pay for it with EBs and get actual money back in a rebate is awesome! This is how I saved 6,000 dollars last year and have it sitting in my ING account. I love rebates!

These were priced at 6.99 at my store last week. Already, sent for the rebate. Even a bigger money maker for me :D

Where is this coupon from? I would like to take advantage of this deal but I’m trying to make sure I don’t use improperly reproduced coupons. Is there any way to verify that this is ok to use? Thanks for all the tips!

Both the coupon and the MIR are directly from the Natural Dentist website, Jeff. I definitely do not advocate dishonest couponing on my site. That’s why I pulled the Walgreens Hershey’s deal yesterday. Thanks!

On the rebate is says ” not to be used in conjunction with any other offer” will using the coupon make the rebate void?
    Thanks

What is wrong with the Walgreens Hershey deal? I didn’t catch that you pulled it and have it on my list to buy this week!

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for posting about our coupons and about our rebate offer – the Healthy Mouth Challenge! These are both valid offers that are featured on our website. =)

In addition, I wanted to let you all know that we’re running a special contest during February in honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month. It is ONLY for blog readers. You can check it out here – http://www.thenaturaldentist.com/February

    Thanks again!

I am new to all of this coupon and rebate lingo.
What is the $4 ECB’s on the Natural Dentist product?

Courtney, I don’t think the coupons will void the offer. They have them both on their website, so I would think they intended them to be used together.

Diana, the coupons for the Hershey’s deal state that they’re only good on the big bags, and the rebate is good on the smaller bags. While the coupons do work on the smaller bags, I don’t want to promote anything that is even remotely like a dishonest couponing practice on my site.

Hi Deb, I guess you commented while I was commenting, LOL. ECBs are ExtraCare Bucks which are part of CVS’ store loyalty program. You can read about them in my All About CVS ExtraCare Bucks post, and then read the CVS 101 for Newbies post that’s linked at the bottom of that for details on the program as a whole.

I went to CVS to get this deal and it does not indicate in the store that there are $4 ECB when you buy one at $9.99. If it does not say there are ECB’s on the tag indicating the price does that mean that this deal is over or will they still ring up when you check out and buy them?

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for posting about our Healthy Mouth Challenge (and for taking part in our offer!). I can’t wait to hear what everyone thought about the products.

Though we had many many rebates delivered correctly, a few have gotten lost in the mail.

If you haven’t gotten yours (within 10-12 weeks), let me know and I can help you track it down!
