May 13, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 10 Comments

dry-idea-couponsIf you haven’t already printed the $2/1 Dry Idea Deodorant coupons, I’d recommend you do so now to take advantage of a money-making opportunity at CVS next week!

Dry Idea Deodorant, 2/$5
Get $2 ECBs wyb 2 (limit 3)

$2/1 Dry Idea printable
Better than FREE after (2) coupons and ECBs!

(Thanks, Cha-Ching on a Shoestring!)

I thought I remember reading somewhere that CVS will just use one coupon for multiples of that product. Was that just the CVS coupons, or is this for manufacturers as well, or am I thinking of an entirely different thing?!? :)

So if I want to buy 2/$5 (limit 3), will I need 6 Dry Idea coupons? And can I buy them all in one transaction and still get $6 ECB?

Great post! Quick question, when it says limit 3 and the offer is for when you buy 2, does that mean you can buy up to 6 and get $6 ecbs for it? TIA!

Yep – you buy 6 and will receive $6 in ECBs. You can do them all in one transaction, but it will combine all ECBs for that offer into one ECB. This probably isn’t a problem in this instance since it’s only $6, but when you’re talking about ones where you earn $5 or so, it’s probably not a good idea because you have to get your total up much higher to use them. Does that make sense?

I think maybe you’re referring to the Clip-Free coupons, Manelynn. You’ll need 6 coupons to fully take advantage of the deal, so you might have to ask co-workers and friends to print for you since you can only print 2 per computer.

Dry Idea is already on clearance for $1.19 at my CVS. That means a $.80 overage with the coupons these coupons. I wonder if we will get the ECB deal next week.

Yes – definitely avoid getting that total up too high unless you are using CVS for major grocery purchases each week, as having high value ECBs can be tough on the strategy;)

Wish we had a CVS! I have a bunch of those coupons and went to Target a couple of days ago and they aren’t on sale for $2 there anymore :(

FYI, I purchased Dry Idea this week and it was on clearance for under $2 , so a moneymaker even without ECBs YMMV.

Just FYI…several drugstores (Wags and CVS) has had the Regular Roll-On brand of Dry-Idea on clearance. If you can find any on the shelf, you can already get these for free…sometimes even make a profit.
