I am so confused. I am looking at the ad that starts tomorrow at CVS, and I am not seeing a lot of the deals that you have posted. I live in the DFW area. Is it possible they are different throughout the country? Are these deals from the September ad, and not the weekly? Any insight you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks so much for all that you do!

How can you get the Chex mix coupon to print again? I printed it a few months ago when CVS had the same deal running and ever since then I can not print it anymore? Any ideas…let me know. Thanks in advance. I love Chex mix.

Great blog and great advice for us parents whose time and/or money are not something we can afford to waste. I do have a question..what is your opinion on places like Aldi, Save-A-Lot, etc? I probably wouldn’t buy a lot of fresh produce or meat from those places but for canned goods, boxed stuff, frozen..it’s awesome, and quality is very comparable to name brands and store brands.

CVS is conducting a 6 week trail period which thank goodness is almost over!! I also live in the DFW area, and I emailed CVS to find out what was going on..and that’s what they told me. That also explains why we haven’t been recieving the whole ad in the Dallas paper! Our sales dates are different but will be back to normal in the next couple of weeks Im guessing. Also, The 2day sale for most people is Sunday and Monday, ours was Friday and Saturday, so I missed out on that one!

    Great job, Sandra!

Unfortunately, if you’ve printed a coupon and it hasn’t been reset, you won’t be able to print it from your computer again. Perhaps you could find someone to print it for you that won’t use it!

Papi – honestly, I haven’t shopped at stores like that much. We don’t have Save-A-Lot, and Aldi is not close enough to benefit me much. Perhaps another reader can weigh in!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
