I’ve never tried to use 2 coupons on a B1G1 deal, but I have some of the $2/1 Trail Mix Crunch coupons that I’d like to use. Do most CVS stores take 2 coupons on B1G1? Is it up to the cashier/manager/store or is there a policy on this? Thanks for your help!

If you got a Tums coupon on a previous receipt, you might be able to get those free this week. They are $2.99, and there is a $1 coupon in the 5/17 SmartSource. The CRT was for $2.00, making them FREE!

Sarah, CVS’ policy is that you can use two coupons on a BOGO sale.

Randomly I have problems printing coupouns. When I select print, I am then prompted to “install the coupon printer” even though I have alreay installed it. Example: the Sobe coupon this week. I can’t print it. Any ideas on what I need to do?

How are you using 1 coupon ($2/1) and getting two trial size Schick razors? (.99 ea.) Don’t they either reject the coupon for being over the price or adjust it down for one to .99?

Crystal, many links are browser-specific. If you’re using Internet Explorer, try it in Firefox, and vice versa. That may solve the problem :)

Cheryl, it’s one of those things that may vary by store. If they adjust down to just $0.99 for one, then I would tell them to take the other one off the order.

    FYI— the post trail mix cereal (which my HUSBAND loves) is 4.79 / box… b1g1… makes it 2/4.49 – 4 IP= 2/.79

    not free…. but GREAT deal!

I linked above, but I think the best deal by far this week is a $6.02 money maker on the Neutrogena products. If you buy 2 of the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 (1 fl. oz.) for $1.98 each — or $3.98 total — then you get your $10.00 Extra Bucks for buying “2 items”. These little tubes of sunscreen were with the promotional cosmetics at the front of the store, not with the sunscreen items.

Hello! I’m a newbie. In fact I went to try out CVS-ing for the first time tonight and I don’t think I did it quite right. I’m curious to see how you would have planned the transactions for the things I bought. If I send you the list of 9 items, would you tell me how you would have planned it? I couldn’t find the small Neutrogena but now I see that it may have been at the front of the store and not in the 3 other places that I looked repeatedly! So, another trip tomorrow.

I’ve only tried CVS once before my 2nd trip…today! I purchased 2 of the thermacare which was only $5.49 on sale, originally $7.49, making the total $10.98. I handed the cashier my cvs card then 2 $3 coupon making OOP to 5.94 including tax for both items. However, I didn’t get my 5 ecb. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong(?)

FrAnCe, what does it say at the bottom of your receipt? It should tell you how many items you’ve purchased towards a particular deal. Sometimes the ECBs just don’t print and they have to generate them manually.

    Hi Tara,

It has health care eligible total of $5.94 (total OOP I spent). It also gives me a summary of my year to date savings and spring 2009 spending.

I called and spoke to the store manager and asked to bring in my receipt to my next visit. He mentioned something about a “limit”? Limit on what? I guess, I have to ask him on my next visit ;o)

    Thanks Tara.

Hmm, it sounds like they didn’t ring as part of the promotion. Hopefully the manager can help you sort it out. It’s kind of hard to say without seeing the items and all.

OK, as I am just starting out at CVS – literally! Yesterday I just got my Extra Care Card…I have a question about the Sobe drinks – when you use a BOGO coupon for a BOGO item, is it chain wide CVS store policy that they take 2 coupons or by location? I guess my real question is if you have BOGO coupon and the store has a BOGO sale – will the two items always be free? I think I tried doing that at Walgreens one time and it didn’t work – I think that the cashier said that the second item was already a free item so I couldn’t use two coupons.
    Thanks :-)

And sadly I scoured my store and could not find the Neutrogena sunscreen :-( LOVE that stuff!!!!

Yep, Michelle, that is CVS’ corporate policy. You’ll always get both items free!

I posted my link for the SoBe B1G1 free offer at CVS – it worked! I know people had problems with CVS accepting a store B1G1 free offer with a manufacturer B1G1 free offer. I wonder if there is something on their website that people could print and take with them if they ever run across that issue, b/c according to their policy it should be FREE! This afternoon I had a $2.00 [from the colgate rewards] and $3.99 [deoderant rewards] and used those extra care rewards to get GAIN detergent which was $5.99 [get $2.00 rewards] and 2 SoBe waters for $.14 cents! YEA!!! Plus, I walked away with another $2.00 extra care rewards! Love CVS!!! Too bad I missed out on the Neutrogena suncare offer!

preppy little dress´s last blog post..FREE SoBe lifewater….for real?!??!
