Oh, I hope my area has this deal – I’ve got 2-3 of the $4 coupons, and they’ll go a long way to filling up my $5/$30 CRT. Thanks!!

Yeah! Just picked mine up! Thanks for the heads up :-) After coupons and ECBs, I paid $.01 for 10 soy joy bars and 1 pack of the pads and rec’d $12 in ECB back! Not bad for a five minute trip!

My nearest CVS is 25 miles away and it’s a pain to get out with my 3 year old and 5 month old. Does anyone know about how much these cost at Wal-mart (which is less than a mile away)?

Keri, the same pads are on rollback at Walmart right now for $6.96, so they’re $2.96 after coupon.

I picked mine up this morning. YAY!!! Thank you so much, Tara, for the heads up. I love this site!!!!! This just happened to be the week I bought 3 newspapers so I got 3 boxes and used a $2 ECB that made my total $0.97. Love it!

They were on clearance at my local CVS — reg. price 10.49. What a deal!! I didn’t purchase today because I am trying to use a $5/$50 coupon (ugh!) later this week after the next delivery comes in. Hope they won’t be sold out!! I have 2 coupons so that will be 9.98 toward my total before coupons!

I’d really love to take advantage of this deal, but am not able to find the P&G coupon, printable or the insert! Still, $4.99 is a good deal for this brand.

The deal is working here in Kansas City. I just got mine. I had to go to 3 stores before I found them. Luckily, I live in the land of CVS where we have a CVS on every corner!

Laura: In your #2 Transaction, you said you bought 10 Soyjoy:
    used 1 x $2 off wyb 10 Soyjoy coupon
used 3 x BOGO Soyjoy coupons

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought when you use 3 BOGO coupons then you won’t be able to the $2/10 one since you’re getting 3 of them for FREE?? one MQ per item?? No??

Diana – I wasn’t sure myself whether or not the $2/10 coupon would work in conjunction with the BOGO coupons. In the first transaction, I handed the cashier the $2/10 coupon first and the 4 BOGO coupons last. It appeared to work fine. In the second transaction, I handed the cashier the 3 BOGO coupons first and the $2/10 coupon last, just to see if the coupons would work together in any order. The 3 BOGO coupons scanned fine but the $2/10 coupon beeped. The cashier looked at it, recognized the coupon from the previous transaction, and forced it through. However, I doubt that I could have used a 5th BOGO coupon in the 1st transaction without it beeping, since the $2/10 would need to attach itself to one of the bars. Some might prefer to use their BOGO coupons first before the $2/10 coupon (to get the larger discount just in case it doesn’t work – the BOGO coupons actually ring up with a $1.29 discount instead of the $1 sale price), but if you’re going to try using both, then I would recommend using the $2/10 first as it seems to work better that way. You could even try a 5th BOGO coupon if you have one and see if the cashier is kind enough to force it through, but I usually try to avoid beeps at the register.

    Laura,

I was wondering how you got your 1st transaction for free? Am I missing something? My math is probably wrong…. Sounds like a great deal that I would like to take advantage of, but would like to understand it first =) Thank you!

Also, how did you get $12 ECBs from your 2nd transaction?

Lala – sorry, I forgot to include that I used $4 ECBs from last week’s Purex deal in that first transaction. (I actually realized after going back over my receipts that I lost money on my ECBs. The BOGO coupons ring up at $1.29 instead of $1, so the coupons took off a total of $5.16 instead of $4. The cashier adjusted my ECBs and I lost $1.16. However, I had planned on using the full amount of those ECBs to pay for the bars anyway, and I made money off the deal overall, so I’m not heartbroken. Just something to let everyone else know about so you can consider that when doing your math.)

The $12 ECBs earned in the 2nd transaction come from the 10 Soyjoy bars bought in the 2nd transaction + the 2 extra Soyjoy bars purchased in the 1st transaction. 12 bars, $12 ECBs. The nice thing about CVS is that you don’t have to buy all of your items in the same transaction. As long as you use the same CVS card, you can theoretically buy one Soyjoy bar in each of four different transactions, and your $4 ECB will print out on the receipt of that last transaction. The same was true with the Swiffer/Febreze deal a few weeks ago – I believe it was something like, get $5 ECBs wyb $10 of participating Swiffer items. You could buy an $8 Swiffer item in one transaction and a $2 Febreze item the next transaction. Your $5 ECBs would print out on the receipt of that 2nd transaction, once you’ve reached a total of $10. The bottom of your receipt will show how much you have bought towards a participating promotion, and when you have reached the promotion limit.

Ani – the $4/1 Always coupon was located in the P&G coupon insert in the 6/7/09 Sunday paper. There are many forums where you can swap/purchase coupons, eBay included, but they would most likely have to be mailed and might not arrive in time for the CVS deal. You might try posting on your local Freecycle group (https://www.freecycle.org) or searching your local Craigslist for coupons available to pickup in your area.
