There have been several consumer recalls over the past couple of days that may affect Deal Seeking Mom readers. Please refer to the links included in each section for more details about the specific recalls:
Tea Light Candle Sets
Meijer Inc., of Grand Rapids, Mich. announced a voluntary recall of Katie Brown 12-Piece Tea Light Candle Sets because the clear plastic candle holder can ignite, posing a serious burn and fire hazard to consumers. The recalled tea light sets were sold exclusively at Meijer Stores in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois and Indiana from October 2010 through March 2011 for about $8.
Consumers should stop using the tea light candles immediately and return all tea light candles sets to any Meijer Store for a full refund. For additional information, contact Meijer at (800) 927-8699 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit the firm’s website.
Other Recalls
Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
